I think that the rose moment was there to tease viewers with the idea that she could see. Because of the way she looked at the blood on her finger

@@gldramafreezone there was also a moment when she argued with her dad. Most of the time she is looking in a direction that is not aligned with where he was standing. And then when he says he is ashamed of her, she looks straight at him and says she is ashamed too. There are bits and peaces of the show that make you really think about what is the truth of May really is. It is given that all of the characters have something to hide. May is the story's key because we in the show and even the novels, have no idea who she is. We only know her in relation to Ai and not other people.
