back in the day Arsenal had it with Plymouth in the car park. i was there. night game. proper tear up.Barrels coach from wembley. if anyones still alive. took over a pub in Plymouth, Wont lie they was well game man. there was only about 20 of us taking on there mob. toe to toe went right off. we had to walk through some little wood after to get to the away end. around 1986 maybe 88. long time ago man. im sure the game finished 6.1. we got a police scort back to the coach. wont lie. we needed it. good times though.

Given that we are still suffering from the administration and yet are still in the play offs for league one I think it is safe to say it won't be too long before we are playing back in the same league. You wan't to talk about history, won the league against you in 85/86, beat you to the league title in 2003/2004, we can talk about history all you like chap. Yeah your infrastructure is better at the moment, so is your ground and squad, but then your club has never been decimated by the greed of men wanting to make a quick buck for themselves no matter the cost to the football club, and it's not that long ago the club was tinkering on the bridge of closure. Granted you have played in the top league and we haven't, but how long ago was that ?, were you even born then ?(I sure as fuck was because my brother had trials there and they wanted to sign him but he ended up going in the NAAFI instead). But then again, you seem to forget that your city has a significantly bigger population than Plymouth, and a large catchment area as well. First season back in the championship what kind of crowds were we getting ?. Think you will also find that we have had quite a few seasons at league two/chapionship level, couldn't tell you the exact number but I can guarantee that a fair amount of Argyle's football has been played at league two/championship level, and im pretty sure that City haven't had that many seasons in the top flight, so this delusion you traditionally play at a higher level is laughable, and not based on fact. Keep trying though pal, you might get something right eventually.
