I love it when opposition manager starts waffling. Just as I would worry if my teams manager did likewise. Clement started doing this a few weeks back . If Celtic win on Saturday then he will show his true colours . Likewise if rangers win he will tell us he won two trophies and Celtic only won one. Either way he will be exposed next season in the league.

Next year Celtic stand to make north of 45m pounds from the CL. This on top of the 100m they already have squirrelled away and a potential 30m for Matt O'Reilly. The remainder of their squad - CCV, Calmac, Reo, Kyogo, AJ etc are worth infinitely more than their rivals. The only real asset Rangers have is Jack Butland. The idea that Rangers can compete with Celtic for titles year on year moving forward is about as optimistic as hoping the UK will flourish outside the EU. It's a fantasy.

Have to agree with everything said by the panel, it would be a fantastic signing if Celtic were to get Butland , he’s been rock solid for Rangers but hard to see it happening, Scales is good at defending but looks shaky going forward , he needs to act faster and with more precision on distribution and he’d be the finished article , hopefully he works on that for next season.

Yeah, but if Rangers do qualify for the Champions League, Rangers get MORE money than Celtic do, this fact is laid bare by the fact that Rangers hold better coefficients in Europe than Celtic do. So, Rangers will get MORE money than Celtic, and now we're in the seeded because of the circumstances, so we miss out playing clubs like a Benfica, which has increased our chances of qualifying. I think where Celtic hold the edge is they have better strikers. Danilo could prove to be worthy, but unfortunately, injury problems has kept him out, he has that potential. Rangers are sorely needing to bring in quality in those areas and when you look aside from injury problems, we don't have the options coming off the bench. I hate to sound harsh, but the players we brought on in that cup final aren't good enough, sadly. Is there a gap? Maybe, but nowhere near as big as Celtic fans are making it sound like. If that were the case, why did Rangers create the most chances in the old firm match and if it was such a huge gap, surely the scoreline would've been more than a single goal? It's all nonsense.

Celtic have a better midfield 3 aswell I don't think rangers have any midfielders who could lace oriley or mcgregors boots. Rangers spent alot last summer with a big rebuild under beale which didn't really work so could rangers afford to get it wrong again? Celtic are in a much better financial position which makes it even harder to see rangers catching them. There is definitely a gap mate hence why rangers haven't beat celtic all season and the scoreline flattered rangers in many of those games
