DI stands for directional influence, good di can get you out of combos and help you survive strong hits

The Law Yeah its a little fucked considering that DK relies on grabs so much. Lucas's shield pressure is so hard to grab or escape from. Still though, Thunderz handled the matchup like a beast.

Mach02 Mike You can spotdodge DKs grab a lot of the time provided you are on the ground (see lunchables) and Nair can be DIed out at early percents. His only way to cover Lucas is if Lucas gives him the stage. Lucas can multishine his shield for free as the only counter is roll which DJ has a slow roll that is short Lucas can co we it. His recover is very easy to limp with Lucas and you need only dair him because he can't survive a meteor with up b. You can freely combo DK across the stage because his big hotbox and bad tech rolls and you have a hit confirm projectile. Hyper didn't play well as a player this set its that Thunderz didn't play well enough.
