I received a call about one month ago, saying my phone number will be blocked, allegedly, because of suspicious activity with my number... Called up 1930. I was advised to go to the local police station and lodge an FIR. Given the record of Kolkata Police, I did not pursue the case further... . We need to see what actions are being taken against these frauds... This info should be in pulbic domain to instill fear in the minds of these fraudsters....

I got a call claiming from TRAI threatening to block my sim card in 30 minutes. Just by listening to the callers tone, I realized it is a scam. The sense of urgency theu create is dangerous because it does not allow us to think critically.

i got this call twice, the second time i had ordered somethign and it was coming through FED EX so i answered it, they started with similar thing but luckily i was already at Cyber crime bureau in bangalore for a different complaint on a insurance scam callers, i just gave my phone to them to talk, that number is not reachable now. 🤣🤣🤣
