That handshake between Modi and Xi didn't look like a border standoff resolved. It looked like disgust from Xi to shake Modi's hand, each feeling the other wondering whose hand was more icy. The thaw in relations will take a LONG time. Xi wants more members in BRICS. Does that include his lapdog Pakistan? If so, I can see India running for the hills. Overall I wish the BRICS would become something like the EU and have its own currency like the EURO. That would implode or explode the Western world entirely. If China and India mend relations, it has the fantastic potential to become a cohesive supercontinent. But one must decide which nations take the backbench or wait at the door. I can think of three. Pakistan, Afghanistan and North Korea. Japan won't join as they are G7 but might get scared of the military China's military and strategic power and cave. I sincerely feel Japan's future lies in Asia and not with the US which nuked it

brics will only succeed if china leaves it and is replaced with african union and asean and the rest of latin america........for the simple reason that china holds maximum US treasuries which is what it used to waste on its belt and road project and is just actually america's proxy to derail it but in the not so obvious way.......in fact eventually the eurozone will also tie up with briks realizing the losses they have suffered due to dollar dominance.....did anyone forget what happened to gaddafi when he wanted libya to switch to euro for oil.........the us dollar will became an international currency based offshore and no longer under us control which will be the currency of the internet and similarly will be the briks currency etc........the american dollar [not usd] will be a domestic currency devalued to the extent that it reflects the true economic output of america which in reality should be valued at most only 2 times the value of the renminbi or even less than that............us dollar is a sinful currency as it carries the horrendous karma of financing international wars drug and human trafficking bioweapons agricultural weapons weather weapons emp pulse weapons etc through its bogus counterfeting system known as the federal reserve..........the us has accumulated severe bad karma for atleast another 100 generations or 5-6 thousand years in just one century of its internationalised currency
