PM Modi inaugurates India's longest Chenani-Nashri road tunnel in J&K

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday inaugurated India's longest Chenani-Nashri road tunnel in Jammu and Kashmir. The 9.2 km long tunnel equipped with integrated control system is also Asia's longest bi-directional road tunnel.
The tunnel will reduce the travel time between Jammu and Srinagar by around a couple of hours. The tunnel will be open to public for use from Monday morning.
