There are two points. One is that while technically it may be correct that a law enforcement agency can take action against a wrong doer at any time, but, I dare say, that it does not sit well with public perception. After all, the wrong doing has not happened yesterday that ED/CBI have to quickly act today. For 11 months in the year, you keep watching/sleeping and just suddenly before the elections you wake up and start raiding. I am not defending the wrong doer, I also feel that Soren’s systems were dens of heavy corruption, but, I must add, that in the kind of echo system that prevails ( and which has not been dismantled by Modiji yet) the timing of such an action could be counterproductive. The second point is about the happenings in Bangladesh. What have we done. Sweet nothing. And in any case, when this Govt / Ruling-Party could not protect its own Hindu party workers from the atrocities of the TMC brigands - who were largely Muslims - then it is a wishful thinking that they would do anything to protect our brothers in Bangladesh. Muslims and even illegal migrant muslims from Bangladesh / Myanmar merrily have their way in our own country, and we can do nothing about that, then what do you expect. I do support Modiji/BJP but I also admit that their failure in this regard is not only disgusting but also dangerous for the future of our nation.
