Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday replied to the Motion of Thanks to President Droupadi Murmu in Lok Sabha. He chaired a National Democratic Alliance's (NDA) parliamentary party meeting, in which he was given a rousing welcome by the ruling bloc's leaders and was also garlanded. His address in Lok Sabha today came after Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi's fiery speech on Hinduism the day before that sparked a row. Some of the Congress MP's statements were later expunged from the Parliament.
