Got my pre-ordered 2 essences. They are awesome! Better than I expected. Sorry to hear they're limited edition; please consider producing them long-term! I would definitely reorder after these two are done. And yes, only need 2-3 drops for face/neck. At first, I poured out a bunch, and ended up putting the rest on my hands/chest. The glide/slip is gorgeous. Face is so happy here in cold Minnesota. Wishtrend item sounds similar to Paula's Choice retinol/bakuchiol. I like that PC clarifies it's 2% bakuchiol, which is important since other bakuchiol products list it near the end of ingredients list, which means very low potency.

So first off I got the essence in the 2nd batch I think, and it’s so good. The texture!!! I’m just in my bathroom doing the chefs kiss at the air lol And my often annoyingly sensitive skin is happy with it, and it folds like 3 steps I was previously doing into one. A very affordable moisturizer that has that same light but grippy feel is Aveeno’s Restorative Skin Therapy Oat Repairing Cream. It is slightly occlusive but not greasy in the least, and I don’t feel like there is a coating on my face.

Interesting, if it helps, the person who confirmed to me CAIS did NOT affect retinoids but could possibly be sensitizing when used together is the Chief Scientific Officer of Deciem. They even took Retinoids off the website as a possible conflict as it was more of a cautious take rather than because they contraindicate!

HeY!:)) I was just thinking to include toners and first essences in my routine as a good preparatory step to even make other serums to absorb better ( I watched a video that first essences that are fermented make the products absorb better), also saw your videos about essences, but now I see that you dont apply first essences in neither your AM nor PM routine, same with toners? I wonder do they help or do they prevent other serums to absrob if applied after cleansing before the serums? If they prevent, how to appky them later if they are in the lighter texture than serums? How to incorporate them so that they would not prevent my actives from absorbing? Maybe better to use not the first essence but something thicker and use it after serums?

My skin is too sensitive for harsh ingredients like retinoids/tretinion/vitc/salicylic. Would peptides serum be suitable for a sensitive, dehydrated combination acne prone skin? Niod is better than Ordinary or Biossance? Please guide

If you're not able to use retinoids, vitamin C or salicylic, then there is a strong probability that you wouldn't be able to use the Niod CAIS3 serum. (Niod is Deciem's premium skin care line.) I have sensitive skin, and I can't use it every night. It is quite potent. (If you did want to try it, Deciem does offer a money back guarantee on all their products if it doesn't work for you.) On another note.....Have you tried the Ordinary 5% Lactic Acid exfoliant? I find it to be very gentle and very effective. It's one of my favourite products. If you find the Lactic Acid too strong, then consider trying the Ordinary Mandelic Acid exfoliant.
