I just switched from using oil skin cleanser to the same micellar water you use (it is good) followed by the first aid beauty cleanser. It’s really helped my skin 💁‍♀️

Your not crazy, the proof is in your stunning skin. I have recently added; Cerave eye cream, Ordinary Retinol Serum & La Roche P. Vit C serum for sensitive skin to my routine. All of my issues are disappearing. The series of fine lines in the inner corners of my eyes, gone. My poor skin was dry. Thank you soooo much 👏💕

off topic but i’m currently obsessed with the ordinary moisturizer, i recently just got it and omg its so creamy and rich and thick and the perfect texture and i apply it while my face is damp bc i have dry skin and my face is super soft! the ingredients are so simple but also so affective and it’s only $7! and it lasts a really long time but yeah there’s my rant

Very great to watch. You are right on point. I'm 41 and have noticed the change in my skin. A few sunspots/age spots have emerged, wrinkles around the EYE AREA for sure, and redness. Keep doing what you're doing! I'm sure it will pay off.

Love the point you made about a thicker moisturizer on the neck area! We have fewer oil producing glands on the neck than we do on the face, so it can be drier than the face in general.. especially if we aren't treating it right!

Im not sure if you’ve read the ingredients list on the Neutrogena Hydro Boost cleanser but almost all of the products in the Hydro Boost line claim to have Hyaluronic Acid (aka Sodium Hyaluronate) in them. Unfortunately, if you look in the ingredients list it is the last ingredient. This typically means it is less than 1% of the formula which to put it nicely it means it doesn’t do anything. It may be a gentle cleanser but I would advise anyone reading this to consider reading the ingredients list on any product before purchasing. Some companies will put any claim on their packaging if it means getting your money which sucks.

If you ever make merch, I feel like it should say "I'm very serious about my skincare" or "I'm like crazy skincare lady". I feel the same way! Skincare is my self-care, seriously. Such a good video. Love the inclusion of neck skincare, I feel like people don't talk about that enough, or they just say they bring their regular skincare down their neck a little.

Love that you are fragrance-free and essential oil-free! Your skincare routine is so satisfying to watch xx. Been thinking of buying the fragrance-free ponds cold cream, but am worried about the residue, I do go in with a second cleanse (simple micellar gel wash) though. Is the cold cream easily washed off even without a washcloth?

Hi, got a rec for you on this you might wanna try. I would recommend the Neutrogena Makeup Remover Melting Balm for a cleansing balm instead of the Ponds if you want something that rinses right off. I love it, no greasy residue after washing at all and no cloth needed. (This is a must for me since I have rosacea and cannot handle washcloths or rubbing/friction on my skin.) Fragrance free and $10 for 2 oz jar.

I also saw your function of beauty and love those products as well because I need a fregrance free and dye free option for hair too. I use the cerave moisturizing cream and day face lotion with spf 30 and hydro boost extra dry cream at night with Cerave moisturizer. I also use cerave bath bar which is awesome . It really isn’t necessary to double cleanse when removing sunscreen. Surfactants are in cleansers for a reason. Lab Muffin Beauty has an article about this on her website. I used to think I HAD to use an oil cleanser. I don’t wear makeup, only sunscreen. My CeraVe Foaming Cleanser does just fine at removing everything.

Just found you and your awesome! You answer all the questions that pop into my head as I am watching! I recently took about 2 months, no joke, and just researched a ton before deciding what to buy for my skin care routine. I totally agree with everything you said! Retinol is key and you don't need a separate eye cream. I went with many products from The Ordinary skin line. It has made such a difference in my texture, complexion, and breakouts! After watching, I am going to add in Cleure Repair & Correct Eye Cream. Thanks for affordable options!

Great video Abbey! Quick question. I use the Cerave vitamin c serum, and have also tried out the versed vitamin c serum. I find that both of these turn brown and sit in my pores and make me look like I have a bunch of black heads everywhere. The cerave one comes out yellow so I’m not sure why it turns brown as it sits on my face.. Have you experienced this? Or could it just be from the brands I’m using?

To all those who can afford to see a dermatologist: you are lucky. I can't afford such luxuries. I guess poor people with mental health issues aren't allowed to age gracefully. Sad how this world works when everyone only cares about money... I'm constantly stuck in survival mode. I want to try tret, but I don't see how it's possible

everyone's skin responds differently. I personally prefer the Cerave PM or Cerave Daily moisturizing lotion- I have acne prone combination

Why can't we use a microfiber cloth rather than buying a halo face product that is sold on Amazon? It's much less expensive and soft to the skin.

Do you wet the face halo with water before you put on micellar water on it?

Sometimes but you don’t have to! It does work better for me that way 😊

Abbey Yung Thank you! It worked well :) I actually just use face halo now with micellar water instead of oil and my skin like it alot. Always been more for oils but, Why not try something new, and it works :)

For the neck, couldn’t you just bring your regular skincare products down your neck instead of having different creams for just your neck?

The skin on the neck is thiner and more sensitive. Not smart to use prescription tretinoin on your neck.

@@AbbeyYung Same here I've NEVER peeled, flaked, ANYTHING with Tretinoin at all. I've even used the strongest in both the 1% cream & the gel. I guess I have really thick skin idk. But it makes me wonder if it's even doing anything? I switched to the gel because I am combo clogged pore prone & there is isopropyl myristate in the cream which is supposedly comegenic which is ironic that it would be in Tret. The gel smells STRONGLY of alcohol though. But still no flaking or anything so idk.
