Hey Abbey, here’s another way to use cleansing oils. After working the oil all over your face, add a little bit of water, massage until the oil turns milky (emulsification), and rinse away with water. Cleansing oils are designed to emulsify to rinse away.

I love the Cerave healing ointment on my nails and cuticles. My hands are so messed up from all the extra hand washing and sanitizer use. The littlest bit goes a long way. I put it on after Eucerin advanced repair cream last thing before getting into bed, otherwise I can’t do anything afterward. I bought cotton gloves to help keep the cream and ointment on, but I always find them in the bed or on the floor when I wake up 😅. It’s helped so much! You look fabulous!!!

Thanks to your Purito review I got the Centella Serum too and I LOVE it! It calms my skin down so well and it’s surprisingly moisturizing. My skin always feels tight no matter what cleanser I use and this serum provides enough moisture and helps the feeling of tightness. Thank you for your reviews!

Thank you for addressing using the Cerave Healing Ointment on your eyes! I was hoping someone else was doing this! My always oily eyelids have become so dry, started flaking and the skin has become cracked. It hurts so bad-I am trying to pinpoint what product is doing this (I think it is an irritation eczema from the Cerave vitamin c serum, Cerave foaming face wash, micellar water, or maybe The Ordinary AHA+BHA peel), and so I bought the healing ointment and I’ve been using it on my eyes for a week now, and thought it would be a great night cream for eyes. It has really done a great job at clearing up this problem and feels so comforting. As always, thank you for the helpful product tips!

I've been on prescription tretinoin on and off since my 20s (now in my upper 50s) for acne. I used to apply it first after cleansing, but as I've aged I have found layering it between my serum and moisturizer seems to work well. I imagine as I am dispersing the moisturizer some amount of tretinoin is getting distributed to both the eye and neck area, but without irritation. Funny how that doesn't irritate me but something in the CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser sure does! I can use their foaming cleanser without irritation. Purchased the DRMTLGY Peptide Night Cream on your recommendation and really enjoy it! I rotate between it, Clinique Moisture Surge, and CeraVe Skin Renewing Night Cream (all with a few drops of Squalane Oil mixed in) depending on how my skin is feeling.

@@honeybadgernasty Yea if u search up ingredient checker on google The first website should pop up and say INDEingredient decoder and if u copy and paste The ingredients into the box where it says then click search and it will tell you what ingredients are irritating comedogenic which ones are good and it gives you description and details on all the ingredients that are in that product. That’s how I found out it seemed really good because I had niacinamide in squalane but it’s really comedogenic (poor clogging)

Great video! I use a lot of these. I love that garnier micellar water. (Tip if your contacts are cloudy from fellow lens wearer: my eye doctor said contacts need to be 1st thing in before makeup, and 1st thing out before removing makeup. Otherwise the makeup will bind to your lenses when it’s broken down and make them cloudy.) I love the cerave ointment for my lips. Have you tried the Aveeno eczema therapy balm as well? Has ceramides & oatmeal, and somehow less greasy than petrolatum. Life changing for irritation. I want to try the Centella serum, but gonna finish my current am one first. Glad to know it’s good!

Second hate Cerave personally for me. My skin is fussy and apparently despises anything drugstore that could save me money lol. I'm an ingredient nazi and appreciate the fact this brand is one of the few legit drugstore formulations with effective ingredients hydrating antioxidants etc as opposed to just filled with perfume, sulfates, and cute packaging lol. I have exact same skin type of combo oily and breakout prone if wrong product is used of top clarifying or too hydrating. Every single product ik this lime even the few tsrgrtre for blemish prone skontypes all feel like I slathered bacon grease on my face and will completely clog my skin. Why I have always been baffled that anyone outside of dry skin or remotely breakout prome can ever use anything from this line. Glow Recipe, Natirium, Tula, Oz Naturals, and Youth to the People have been my holy grails for brands with amazingly beneficial formulas, actives, actually effective, and perfect balance of keeping skin clear and balanced yet not overly heavy as so many lines seem to be targeted for more dry skin types who have the luxury to endlessly layer on a million serums and creams without ever worrying about clogs or breakouts. I can dream ha. Se la vie! 😋
