Next playthrough: Sparcelocke. Every trainer has Dunsparce. All encounter tables are 100% Dunsparce. Even the starters are Dunsparce. PLAY AS A DUNSPARCE if the game allows it (Probably doable in HGSS if you can change the trainer sprite)

This fixed some of the lack-of-difficulty problems X/Y had, but not all of them. Not only does the opponents being legendaries skew the level curve in the player's favor, but it also doesn't solve the fact that opponents don't have as many Pokémon or mega evolutions as they should, and have very bad AI. I think an interesting challenge for a Pokémon game would be a randomizer where opponents have 1 more pokemon than they otherwise would, and opposing Pokémon have a minimum BST of, say, 480 or 500.

Man that ending was epic! Also I can understand Diantha's odd move choices. When I fought her her Mega Gardevoir had Thunderbolt. I mean, sure, Gardevoir has great Special Attack, but THUNDERBOLT?! Really?? Why not give it a STAB move like Dazzling Gleam or something, if you're trying to take advantage of that high special attack? On the other hand, since I ended up against the Gardevoir with only a Raichu in the end, it using Thunderbolt might be the only reason I didn't white out the first time.

Idea for new playthrough: Pokémon but each pokemon gets weaker - so it would be like your evolves every level streams but instead of random evo, you start with like a mega rayquaza or something really strong and it evolves every level into something with a slightly lower base stat total - idk if it’s possible to make a game be that specific but I think it would be cool and would make the game get pretty difficult as you went
