Philippine Military Academy Invites for PMA Entrance Examination 2018
The country’s premiere military institution, known for producing quality leaders, is opening its doors to qualified individuals who has the potential to become part of the Cadet Corps Armed Forces of the Philippines and later on serve the AFP as a commissioned officer.
Qualifications for admission:
1. Natural Born Filipino Citizen
2. Physically fit and of good moral character
3. Single and has never been married
4. Must pass the PMA Entrance Examination.
5. No Administrative / Criminal Case
6. At least Senior High School Graduate on the reporting date (01 June 2019), with at least 85% GPA
7. Height Requirement for both Male and Female is 5 feet
8. Born from June 01, 1997 to June 01, 2002
Grade 12 students are already qualified to apply and take the exam provided that they will graduate/finish Grade 12 before the reporting date on 01 June 2019. In such case, they will submit their Grade 11 Form 137/138.
Submission of application online and through courier is already closed. However, interested applicants can still take the examination as walk-in applicants. They will just proceed to their exam center of choice and bring the needed requirements.
The PMA Entrance Examination, scheduled on September 9, 2018, aims to measure the mental ability of applicants in the areas of MATH (Algebra and Geometry), ENGLISH (Grammar, Composition, and Reading and Comprehension) and Abstract Reasoning (Verbal and Numerical Reasoning and Pattern Analysis).

You want to be a PMA cadet? Make sure you are prepared academically. There is no ample time to study once inside especially during the first 9 months of rigorous physical training. But before it could happen , you need to pass the written exam, psychological test and background check first. The best way to prepare yourself is to take college classes in Calculus , Thermodynamics, Physics, Electrical/Electronics Eng'g and lots of English ...and you will be fine. Good luck!!✌️

As a former son of loakan(but not graduated), You need to have dedication and good study habits!!!! Vices must be avoided as well t will CORRUPT your body physically and mentally.... Likewise, being a PMA cadet is not all about UNIFORM AND PARADES....it will be you and you alone, TEACHABLE, DEDICATED, AND HAS A STRONG DESIRE TO CHANGE FOR GOOD..... Im taking the exam this august 2020, And its my 1 time big time shot. If I dont pass, then my dream of becoming a military personel will be just dreams. I will be forced to take academic courses in college and I wont be able to take the PMAEE that time because of financial. Even if PMAEE is free, I just cant let my college life go.. ... So what if I dont pass again? My parents barely make money and its hard for me to make choices without regards to my siblings because Im the first born.. My goal is to support them even when my parents can or cant.... I'll Update you guys if I pass the exam😊

I used to want to be a PMA cadet but now I'm having mixed feelings. My parents wants me to take this path, but as time goes by I feel confused. They are already so happy to hear that I will do my best to become a PMA cadet, but it's not what I think I want to be anymore. I'm scared to dissapoint my parents, specially since I still don't know what I want to be in the future. That's why I'm preparing myself. This days I've been preparing myself, forcing myself. I'll take EXAM next year (2022) i hope to pass the exam and I'll ready my physical status right away. I'll became grade12 and already 18 next year so i think it's the best time to start. I Doubt if i can do this because i know my strength is different to their strengths yet I'll improve to fit in.
