This is like a tribute to PMD. This game forged a part of my childhood. I wanted to support this good old game, as a musical Fan-Art.

I love how Grovyle played the role of the true hero.. But he also played the role of a good friend, and he kept his friendship even though his friend (The player) isn't like the one he knew anymore. Though he knew that he would never be able to see his friends again... He pushed himself with Dusknoir in the portal. I love the line- "Though the parting hurts.. The rest is in your hands!" And the line that he said to make the evil spirit inside Dusknoir shine and understand - (Maybe I've forgotten;-;) "It's not about how long you live, But it's about what you have accomplished in your life" Makes me cry..(T-T)

I love the slow build up then silence and then suddenly your feels are struck hard as a wave of chills hit you when the chorus plays. I would die for a VR perspective of traveling through the Sea of Time listening to this, or at least a fully made RPG of the Mystery Dungeon world

Yeah, that motif is part of why I think PMD2 is so loved. The motif's presence ties things together and its evolution as the the story progresses seems to tell a story in its own right.

Well at least you got to enjoy it! That in itself is important and you can help this game's integrity flourish by showing those who haven't seen it how wonderful this story really is. Plus, now there's one more person that has relinquished in the long forgotten core of Pokemon's real theme "We'll support one another not by simply protecting what we cherish, but by understanding that one's thoughts can determine how others shall stand, no matter the cause." (This is only my interpretation though, there could be other ideas)

And its a sped up version of “in the hands of fate” along with sharing bits from the time gear theme. That musical idea is present in almost every major song and its amazing, since it changes and evolves throughout your journey.

Explorers of sky is the best thing that ever came out of this franchise, and nobody can change my mind about that. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying the main line games are bad. They are amazing and a big part of my childhood, too. But Exlorers of Sky is just that good.

Agreed. My second favourite game is Black and White, since N is just such a great antivillian, and such a lovable character later on as well. Essentially just an abused child who deserved better in life. But not even that comes close to Explorers of Sky.

They could have repeated the heart wrenching gut punch, with the shock, agony and pain on everyone's face as the Protagonist vanishes into non existence.

Or just generally to make a more serious story with mature themes again. Pokemon has so much untapped potential when it comes to storytelling, and PMD showed us just how high that potential is. If I remember correctly, Dragon Quest announced that the next game in the series would be for adults and considerably more mature than the previous games. I kinda wish Pokemon would do the same thing. I mean there are literally millions upon millions who grew up with Pokemon that are now adults, so its not like there would be no audience for it.

I'm crying the sh* out of my eyes, every single time I listen to this. Not because of nostalgia, but because of that painful feeling I still have for Grovyle's sacrifice and what Dusknoir did to the three of us. Even if it's years ago I played the games for the first time and there was a happy ending on both sides in the special episode of explorers of sky, there's this inner pain I can't let go and it always gives me heart aches. This orchestrated remix will always be the most epic thing I will ever hear in my entire life.

My god you should It's kinda hard to get an official copy these days but there's plenty of emulators. This is from either Explorers of Time, Darkness or Sky. Sky is the enhanced version, akin to Platinum or Emerald.
