Once they've fixed the bugs it would be great to see them port over some of the advances in this plane back to the 737 products to bring them up to this standard. I guess if they're doing the MAX they might do both at the same time, because I assume they would not build the MAX from scratch, but rather modify the NG.

they did mention that a lot of the EFB features would be backported to the NG and also added to their MAX, I cant speak for stuff like wing flex for the NG though

My biggest criticism of this plane is the maintenance system. If i could use a single ini file for that across all my airframes then wear and tear would actually mean something. I'll never fly a given livery enough times to feel the effects of wear anytime soon.

In the FMS, select menu >PMDG SETUP> AIRCRAFT> FIXED CONFIG. Select the tail number. I believe that will run the same aircraft config regardless of livery. That might give you want you're looking for.

I’ve flown two full flights on this baby so far, gotten it from day one and it’s just a dream. I’ve already loved the 777 from p3d but this just brings it on another level. Superior performance and quality as always from pmdg. Those updates are just going to make it better and better. The only thing I experienced so far that bugged me was with GSX completely messing up with cargo loading. The height of the vehicles is just completely off. But I guess that’s a gsx side update that has to happen there.

Thank you for the update. Question does the fluid saving on exit work for you? I always have full fluid levels again when I load the aircraft, also tires and brakes seam to have no wear as well (Though that might be as I only did a handful of flights). Setting is active in the FMC and as far as I can see from the manual nothing else should be required.

Previous versions, I took off and around 4000 feet a random failure forced me to stay in a holding pattern; the point is that it was impossible to create a holding.

I've only done a couple of quick flights but the only issues I had was the CDU clear button and the brakes not releasing. Not had those issues since the update. It's a fantastic model to fly. I've loved PMDG since FSX days and really can't wait to see what comes next

Thanks for this video. How do you get feedback to PMDG, I have an idea for the cabins to fix. The IFE screens are all the same. For example the BA livery says welcome to world traveller in first. Small issue but worthy doing.

Hey Emmanuel! Would you be able to make a video covering FL Steps in SimBrief and how to do them in the 777? For example I am doing a long 14hr flight for KPHL to OTHH and my steps look like this “FL STEPS KPHL/0170/JIMEE/0310/TUDEP/0330/BOFUM/0350/ERGUN/0370” I input those altitude at those waypoints in the legs page but the altitudes in between get all wonky and have me climbing then descending then climbing again or climbing hundreds of miles earlier than I should be to climb only 2,000’. I’m surely doing something wrong. Anyways, thanks for all the videos❤

You didn't mention folder structure. Now there is a work folder that contains a flight plans folder that can accept rte files as in other pmdg aircraft such as the 737.

What is your opinion on the engine sounds? I fly 320f but to my point of view it seems the sound transition from idle to TOGA and within approach are really off (too loud). Further the sounds seems to be spot on. Especially in the cabin.

Anyone having issues with the 777 glitching on short final? My first two long haul flights while on approach the auto flips off and I can’t control the throttles and the entire flight panel freezes.

I don't know if it is bug but i can't change the speed below FL100. Debug stays 240/FL100 but i want to have250/FL100. In B737 it is easy to change. you go to PmDG option put the speed which you want to have and that's it.

That is how it works. 240/10000 can only be deleted, never edited. If you delete it will never come back until the FMC resets. Instead you use the REST ALT line at 4L. The FMC will figure it out automatically. Happy flying

Hello, does PMDG have a wind shear warning system? I know the 737 doesn’t even have a weather radar, but the 777 does. I’m not sure, but it seems that both the Fenix and iniBuilds A320 have a wind shear system.

The 737 has a PWS switch I think. I have no idea if it is modeled. Note that the 777 radar isn't really accurate - it is more like nexrad on an EFB.

@@RichFreeman Yes, I know. However, it's not just the 777's weather radar that's inaccurate; the whole MSFS weather radar isn't very good. There must be an upgrade or something. Maybe I missed some developer stream, but the devs haven't said anything about the weather radar in both MSFS 2020 and 2024.

Windshear does not exist in MSFS, thus there is nothing such a system could detect.

I want to get the PMDG 777 so bad but never really enjoyed 14 hour flights where you had to check back in when you wake up or whatever. Might have had an A/P failure, or a game crash, or whatever, and flight was ruined. Do they run domestic 777 flights in America at all? part of why I like the PMDG 737 so much is that I can do like 2-5 hour flights and they're still realistic. short little 2-5 hour flights in the 777 seem unrealistic right?

American flies JFK-MIA and LAX-MIA as far as I’m aware. Emirates and Turkish also have lots of short flights with it.

No, they are very common in the US and the PMDG 777 has an integrated feature to do long haul in 3-4 hours (sim rate can be adjusted)

If you look on the assistance settings make sure auto trim is off I had that problem in the 737 that would be my guess

I'm getting this... all assistance is off. Simply disconnected AP at around 1000ft agl to hand fly her down, and get more used to how it flies. Literally looked down to change a frequency and choose flaps 20 and within those 2 or 3 seconds. 20 deg nose down and completely lost its profile, go around.....

I think Asobo should give money to pmdg and do like the queen asobo should ennoble pmdg and they should on the other hand ban perm bredok3D and captain sim cuz when u see that a group of kind people passionated about their product updates their PERFECT product in just 4 days after the release and that some Bredok3D guy post some kind of fsx shiny glass plane 737 max with stock old 747FMC with no August update 2, no wtb747 fmc, just like the old 747 , no VNAV , a toy like fsx cockpit and a 787 PFD AND MFD, then , thats when u wanna say: y is this world so unfair and y the good people are treated the same as the bad people. Honestly , asobo should ennoble pmdg, fenix, FBW, inibuilds, and like ALL THE GOOD devs cuz idk I dont even know how to create a livery like : reading the livery create documentation on fs2020 site i'm scared to see the list of software to download and meanwhile those guys just made a PERFECT airplane that is just a real life one but in a sim. I swear if the FS2020 sim had like 0 limits those guys would have already made a 4D VR 737 version with touch and smell feelings. Good job pmdg. Read about FBW Trim. You have to trim for the speed you want if flying manually. Actuvate it in the CDU and you can see a marker where it's set.
