The engine kit come in castings and raw material, so almost every parts need machining. Finition and details are others factors to consider. Same about the boiler and piping… For me, yes it was a lot of machining 😁, but not completed on this video 😉

Methyl hydrate (methanol…). Not sure it’s the most effective but it’s common and quite inexpensive!

It was make as specified with a chunk of steel included in the PMR kit. I think it cold roll steel 🤔

The castings are from PMR (P.M. Research) and can be buy directly from their website.

Yes it is... but made some change since this video, adjustment of the timing at first 😉. Really need to update my channel 🙄 but didn't film a lot...

I helas still think that its value worth more for me, but also less for you 😉. I'm not a machinist, and these are my first try in model making, so there's probably many details in the work that doesn't put it at that level... but stay on, I will put some videos of where it sit now... don't know when thought...
