I love how you are a real woman. All the other beauty "gurus" I watch, use a tone of products, and they are 20 years old with no skin issues! It seems that they are showing of, or being paid to advertise something. I can really see a transformation on you while you use those products. Thank you for all your help!

...last week, PMS hit me so bad that I realised all my "bursting into tears" moments were NOT real. they were PMS based (even though I had a lot of stress at my job) - this video tutorial is like an island of shelter - We're not alone. We're women. And we might have special needs sometimes. But that's alright. We deserve to treat ourselves in the best possible manner. Instead of feeling worthless and guilty. Spreading the love. Thank you, Lisa. (Even though this is 3 years old) x

@FlyingMonkies325 I get period cramps from hell, but I don't think you could really call it PMS because they only start once the period has started. Other than that, the only PMS-type thing I've noticed is swollen boobs. I've never experienced any mood differences, and it's baffling to me whenever people mention being weepy from PMS. Not trying to sound like I'm gloating - as I said, I have period cramps from hell - just want to point out that not all women get those stereotypical PMS symptoms.

I do love and LOL at "feeling psychotic, eating chocolate - a lot, or arguing with everyone"....perfect summary. This video & the "meet the ex" are 2 very special contributions to womanhood and a woman's life. Although I'm now in the "menopausal realm" and watch "mature" makeup, I can relate, remember and see younger women around me struggle. You actually tap into true humanity, suffering issues with this - but so easy- breezy, nonchalant and casual....thank you. 💙

A late comer to your videos I just found this one an although at 66 and having had a hysterectomy at 28, I am well past the "times of the month stage" and no longer get spots at all, one of the few perks of aging!! I initially thought this video would not be for me. Unfortunately, however, having been plagued with various serious health issues since turning 50 and taking mega quantities of medication daily since then has played havoc with my complexion and the texture and elasticity of my skin, I found this video incredibly useful and hugely informative. Although an older lady, I find watching your videos is like having a great girly night with your mates and I love that feeling, thank you for presenting your videos in such a way that I feel you are almost just talking to me as a good friend would do.

Didn't realise how much I needed this video until I watched it. While my PMS face is bad enough--my double chin says "Haaaaay", my chin sprouts at least one pulsating volcano of a zit, and my T-zone is greasier than a basket of chips--it's my f**k-everything-in-particular attitude that really sucks during that week. Plus, while I don't get food cravings, I do tend to want to drink a lot when I have PMS (as in drink until I get drunk), which is arguably worse than scarfing down a whole sleeve of Hotel Chocolat. I'm definitely going to follow the cool flannels in the fridge and the mask advice--maybe a little pampering just out of bed will keep my husband safe, if nothing else.

The girl sitting next to me raised her hand and asked the professor how he would feel if he had a clamp attached to his balls for 5 days!!! I never knew why my eyelids got so puffy only sometimes! I have hooded lids, so they are already slightly puffy looking, but when they get bad my eyes look very uneven. They get so different that the lid gets completely covered on one eye while the other seems to appear less hooded because the inner corner of that eyelid puffs showing more lid...it's a nightmare. This video definitely made me realize that other women, everywhere, deal with the same insecurities for so many reasons at that Terrible time of the month. I realize I'm normal now, not some occasionally puffy lidded freak...lol

***** It's hormonal acne! It means, Imbalanced Hormones! Get blood tests on your estrogen and testosterone levels! Then, get treatment from there! You might have PCOS. PCOS = Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. There are other symptoms other than acne on the jaw and chin area. I highly recommend you do the research of PCOS and see if it relates to you :) Also, get your hormones tested!

+muge oskay The absolute worst! I always get big red spots on my chin before my period, I recently had the contraceptive implant removed and my hormones have gone crazy! I usually deal with them by steaming my face or using a hot compress, they are relentless though! I've noticed I get them right before a big event too, probably from stress!
@shesomadeline9 жыл бұрын
caerulea0 Wow! I had no idea there was a contraceptive implant! Google "the orange pill" supposedly it works for females who may have too much androgen - male hormones. It stops the male hormones by blocking it and thus the acne minimizes and eventually goes away. Here is the name of the pill - Spironolactone. Do further research, type "Spironolactone for adult hormonal acne control" you should see many results. If you wanna use it ask ur doc.

Thank you for this video and for all of your videos that you upload! :). You offer real life solutions to real problems that we face(such as this video, meeting the ex, etc) as opposed to other KZbinrs on posting another smokey eye video or a vampy lip, and that is what makes you a breath of fresh air, and an inspiration creative standout. xx
