This looks interesting. I've always said you can't go wrong with Yamaha, having owned their guitars, keyboards, PA equipment and even motorcycles (a fizzy! Yay!). I have an EMX2000 powered mixer that's been bulletproof, and a pair of DXR12 powered speakers, but often a small, simple combo is all that's needed.

Yeah-maha! Thank you for the video, Megan. And, as always, loved the playing. Cheers.

Great playing Meg. Shame it doesn’t have the usb and bullet power outputs that the Everse 8 has, but it costs around the same.

Thanks for the nice voice and playing. I would have liked to ear how does the Stagepas 200 can handle ELECTRIC guitar sounds when you plug a THR 30 in it. I am tired of having an amp to play home, another one for small gig and another one when I have to play louder ... The THR 30 has GREAT electric sounds, I just need to have more power to be eard with a drummer ... so maybe next time you could use it with a THR, please ....

I mean...it's a PA speaker and it'll depend on what space you're in for the sound. You could plug a THR into any PA speaker and it'll depend on what space you're in. Other than that, it's a neutral sound for any and all sources. Won't be exactly like a guitar amp, so the modeling will have to do its thing.

I own bothe the Roland street cube EX and the Yamaha Stagepas 200 BTR, the 200 BTR beats the pants off the Street cube EX, although theres nothing at all wrong with the Roland. Ive used it on probably 100 gigs with no issue at all and its good enough to do the job but the Stagepas 200 sounds incredible, is more powerful and has better options for a gigging musician

I will say a negative is that the mic eqing on the unit itself pretty much sucks, i mean bad....you really MUST use the app to get a vocal mic sounding great. But getting a great guitar tone is easy with the unit controls alone

Features look excellent, but the price is steep compared to the EVerse 8. The presenter did a great job, her size makes that small speaker look a lot bigger than it is though.

Yeah I wanna hear a comparison. The inouts is a huge plus

Looks and sounds awesome. But.. I see you can link another unit or more.. but no mention of stereo. Is Stereo left/right supported with 2 units WITHOUT a separate mixer?
@farbenfeld Жыл бұрын
I'd check the manual but the specs overview says it has 3 mono mixing channels and 1 stereo mixing channel. So, I'd guess you could get stereo going for something like keyboards or tremolo/delay effects.
@tomorrowtech Жыл бұрын
@@farbenfeld The manufacturer has verified the output is dual mono only. The only mention of stereo is the bluetooth connection, which can sync wirelessly to the other unit.. blah blah blah.. the live sound/pa/mics/guitars/etc aspect of it is strictly mono only as far as link/output connections are concerned. I purchased a pair of everse 8's instead. Stereo spread is excellent on these EVs with a truly stereo experience with the option to program the mix out by choice. Pretty big miss for Yamaha here... what? stereo doesn't exist? They just setback music 50 years. Completely idiotic so hard pass.

Like the wheels thingee and the compression but it's a bit heavy compared to the Bose S1

Similar performance. If you don't need the third channel, EV is 10 pounds lighter.

has compression in the app and oddly built into the eq knobs?
