I know this is a little late haha but usually if you want something like a keytar to loop then you will either need a loop pedal or you will need a metronome and a video/audio editing software as well as a microphone

I was disappointed with the durability of the first one. In fact I was getting problems with the modulation bar and the ribbon touch till they all got damaged and I tried to replace them. I wish ROLAND could give us our wheels back just like the ones we had in the 80s. It's funny how I enjoyed using the old Korg K-100 because of its modulation and pitch bend wheels. It was the best. Ribbon controls suck!!

You're not gonna need them, the 80's will suck you in, and never let you go :D (I have this synth, and it has some strings, okay piano and organ (your standard roland stuff), but those are most probably not the reason to get this synth)

Potete aiutarmi ?

I love keytars and I love all the features this bad boy has... the problem is that it doesn't sound good. You're better served with a cheaper midi keytar and using a laptop or something with VSTs if you want something that sounds decent. I wish someone would come out with a premier keytar with just as much attention to the quality of sounds as do they put in with normal keyboards.

Oh dear God dont ever play Van Halen please......that was spectacularly horrible. The patch is everything for that song. Dear God stop cheapening classic 80's any more than they were haha. Love the intent to demo, but stock patches in most every synth ever made are pretty awful without tweaking for live play. This is definitely the most capable of the 'tars I have seen (i own/play 3 of them).....I implore you to stop making the whole idea the goofy stereotype gag you're perpetuating. Peace
@beatz046 жыл бұрын
Nothing 80's about it. I know that's what Roland probably thought would be a clever idea when designing it, but the truth is this thing just looks ugly as s*** (as if a sloppy cut out piece of cheap aluminum was hastily attached to the actual keyboard with a few screws) and the sounds are the usual outdated 90's Roland idea of "futuristic" and "cutting edge" sounds. Geez i can't believe they even made this piece of crap. I'm still waiting for someone from Roland coming out and telling us haha it was all a funny marketing stunt and we didn't really think this was for real, did we ?
@kyleanthonysnell4456 жыл бұрын
