I’ve only tried out guitars in a store once, a few weeks ago, and it was a much more terrifying experience than I expected. Nervous, hands sweaty and shaking, forgetting every song or riff I know-and to make matters worse the guy plugged me into an amp that I didn’t know how to use and walked away (I’ve never used a real amp). Not pleasant.

I once played 'Horizons' by Genesis on guitar in a guitar store and the store owner actually came up to me and said it was awesome that I knew how to play that, as not too many people know that song.
