French born, Berlin based DJ, producer, remixer, sonic crafter PMX SoundZ brings his unique style to Thick as Thieves with his 3 cut “Cabin Pressure” EP.
Earning himself a reputation in Berlin and European clubs / festivals over the last 15 years, Maxence p.k.a. PMX SoundZ has had his previous tracks and productions championed by heavyweights such as; Green Velvet, Andrea Olivia, Claude VonStroke, Gene Farris, The Avener, Maxxi Soundsystem to name a few.
Kicking off in PMX Style is EP title track “Cabin Pressure” thumping kick, head nodding bassline, crisp drums with vocal cuts and twisted samples. “The Loop” moves to peak hour - driving bass and slamming kick complete with dial tones and vocal hooks that will stick in your head till way after you have left the club. Closing out the EP, “The Backroom” combines a haunting vocal sample, a ticking clock interlaced with an arpeggiated synth line that takes you on a melodic techno journey from beginning to end.
