My dad has pneumonia currently. He didn’t require oxygen and doesn’t have a cough or congestion but had mental confusion and difficulty completing sentences. He was diagnosed by X-ray and elevated blood cell counts. He’s been given 5 days of amoxicillin and azithromycin. After 5 days he still gets occasional fever of 100.6. Is that normal? Can we expect it to get better over the next 3-4 days now that his pills have ended. Does he need another round of pills?

I took the antibiotics and my lungs still felt like shit. So I had Doctor Maxine prescribe me some steroids for my lungs and I had her test me for Tuberculosis too. I do not have Tuberculosis but my lungs have felt like worse than COPD every since I had Pneumonia back in February of this year 2023. I've just recently went to vaping to help me quit smoking cigars and Cigarettes but I'm not
