PNG 43RD INDEPENDENCE CELEBRATIONS, CAIRNS AUSTRALIA

On the 16th of September 2018, the PNG communities of Cairns turned out in force to celebrate and commemorate their country's 43rd year of independence from Australia on the 16th day of September 1975.
Though lots of events were happening simultaneously, Brandon and his bamboo band and the Bougainvillean lass's took centre stage of the day.
This video is the compilations of parts of a much larger event which is beyond the scope of this project.
Though the video is mine, the the Bamboo band music remains the property of Brandon and his band of boys and the singing and the dances remain properties of the Bougainvillean Women Group.
