I completely agree with you. Megalosaurus is extremely ignored in figure form, and I have no clue why (especially given what you brought up regarding it; such it being the first dinosaur to be named and stuff). It really needs more recognition/models of it in figure form (such as maybe one by Safari Ltd. and one by PNSO themselves). Not to mention; I think we could actually use some more megalosaurid figures in figure form someday (such as a Eustreptospondylus, or a Marshosaurus, or an Afrovenator).

It's fairly clear PNSO is the best overall dino company IMHO
@antoniorocha39673 жыл бұрын
No, Eofauna is better. Complete scientific accuracy, perfect proportions, perfect scale. They just don't deliver many models, and these may be more visually appealing. But Eofauna is numero uno.
@happymoomoocow3 жыл бұрын
@@antoniorocha3967 Paint on Eofauna is nowhere near PNSO, and for the price the sculpt is meh too, not as much detail, and I own Eofauna’s stuff. If they ditched the clown makeup on the trike and Atlasaurus they’d be up there though, but for now they’re just okay.
@jrex91993 жыл бұрын
@@antoniorocha3967 I won't deny that, they're one of my top companies. Just the amount of dinos, accuracy, & price PNSO has released is hard to compete with. If anyone can compete with them Eofauna is definately the contender
@antoniorocha39673 жыл бұрын
@@happymoomoocow The paint is indeed better on pnso's, but as far as detail i would rather choose Eofauna. Fact is, pnso's are often overdone, i didn't bought the new Wilson because it's way too bumpy. The scales look ridiculous, in my opinion. Huge and bumpy. An animal that size, when reduced to 1/35 you wouldn't really notice much. Nothing against pnso, i've been buying it like crazy. But in the scientific department, i believe Eofauna is still ahead of the game. That said, i love pnso as much as the next geek.

i really like that they used the specimen elvis for the skull but since elvis is not fully grown they just edited it and made it a bit more robust and didnt keep it as slender as elvis

8:53 wow, that papo ceratosaurus works SO WELL with Connor, shame its arms had to be about double their actual size as thats literally its only weakness (kinda like how Connor has that single critique with his crests)

Another win from PNSO! I do think they over-close the jaws of their theropods, but it's a minor niggle. Awesome review! 😊🦖🍻

When my all time favorite SAVAGE-LIZARD gets the PNSO treatment 😭 PS The head sculpt is based off of a specimen of T. tanneri nicknamed. “Elvis” it’s the, most complete specimen for this genus at 55% complete. The only thing holding this finger back from being, perfect for me is the, lack of lips and larger size. But this won’t, stop me from purchasing a couple of these figures in the future.
@firegator68533 жыл бұрын
ooh thats why the head looks like that i dont mind lipless or lipped since there is no clear conclusion on that topic, but i do agree bigger size would make it better expecially if it was up to scale with the allosaurus as an adult but i will still get it

@firegator68533 жыл бұрын
it's not, it's megalosaurid...the reason why you maybe are confused is because this figure is based on "Elvis" the torvosaurus with the most complete skull ever found showing some allosaurid tiny bone projections above eyes, PNSO added keratin and so they look bigger and more allosaur like which is very plausible for dinosaur crests and horns
