Grateful that Carcharodontosauridae are getting their well deserved recognition and attention. Hoping the Argentinosaurus will get its well deserved attention as well. When it comes to models like these and others.

Beautiful figure! Cant wait for mine to arrive! Amazing details and I always love how they make the arms!

I really wish PNSO would finally include lips on their figures in light of the new papers that recently came out.

Great paintjob but especially love how accurate those exposed teeth are.

Fantastsic figure and your review. Hey do you have any prehistoric apmhibians figures? to review them
@andysdinosaurreviews Жыл бұрын
I have reviewed some in the past but I don't have very many overall. I'll have to take a look around my collection and see if I have any more.

Great model as usual but i prefer meraxes because of the colour scheme and the pose. Can't understand if the head is a little bit too big...collecta mapusaurus (a good model for the price) has really different proportions..

Interesting that pnso has Mapusaurus bigger than Giganotosaurus. Cant wait for mine to finally arrive.

This is probably my new favorite figure, or second favorite after the Acro(only one i own) from them. I will subsitute this for my Giga as its bigger and cheaper

Definitely one of my favorites as well! My personal favorite is the Deinocheirus but this is right behind.

@@andysdinosaurreviews I am not in pursuit of a Deinocheirus but it is indeed a great figurine

Do we think PNSO are going to start adding lips to their theropods? I imagine sculpting exposed teeth is much easier but I think current research indicates that this morphology is not likely to be an accurate reflection of the actual animal.
@ronniepatterson2827 Жыл бұрын
I wouldn't if I were them. Keep in mind the lipped theropods theory is just the latest opinion, of constantly changing opinions. Lets see a live theropod before we hang out hats on the latest future lie.
@murphyslaw5150 Жыл бұрын
@@ronniepatterson2827 it’s a very good point from a marketing perspective especially. Although, scientifically I think it’s sound - the evidence does seem rather strong and it’s worth remembering that lipped theropods was actually what the scientific community thought initially.
@ronniepatterson2827 Жыл бұрын
Yeah, the evidence is fairly strong atm, im just going by the overal track record called latest evidence. Also keep in mind these paleontology folk are going by alligators & crocodiles, while at the same time saying gators & crocs are just an offshoot from dinosaurs with very little in common with them overall lol. Youd be suprized at how much pretzel twisting goes into securing future grants & such : )@@murphyslaw5150

@@ronniepatterson2827 Oh not surprised at all mate, sadly. I gave 5 years of my life to academia and palaeontology/ palaeanthropology (studying human evolution, genetics and Pleistocene megafauna) - you are 100% correct, everything should always be viewed through a sceptical lense, and for several reasons sadly.

I am an admirer of your excellent reviews. But here I am placing an unusual query. I basically don't like metal pegs on such figures. It is my personal liking but I know the importance of the pegs to aid its standing. I want some suggestions if you can give how I can remove such pegs finely from such figures. Will you please guide me? It will be very kind of you if you can suggest one/some instrument with picture, so that I can understand and buy the same.

Je trouve que c’est très bon modèle mais il n’est pas assez haut pour sa taille car le maraxes devrait être moins haut et le carcharodontosaurus devrait faire la même taille que le mapusaurus

Imagine if PNSO would put thicker lips on its theropods, you wouldn't need any other company
@player21099 Жыл бұрын
It would be necessary, since their figures are deformed. If they made them out of normal plastic, so that crutches were not needed and lips were, then it would not be needed.
