Great review Matt, PNSO have some nice ceratopsians out there!

This is a nice figure. I looked up the environment of the Wahweap Formation and found it described as a "seasonal wet" area. Why I was curious is because the color scheme seems to fit a desert environment. I remember it being named in a separate report but around the same time as Spiclypeus. With a ceratopsid per subfamily being named and only 1 ending in "-ceratops," I was pleasantly surprised it was the centrosaurine. Plenty of them end in "-saurus" + Spinops, while the vast majority of chasmosaurine names end in "-ceratops."

It's great to see a another review from you Matthew! I actually didn't know about this species or know much if anything about it so this has been very informing for me. I don't know if I'd get this model, it's just not that much of a I guess enthralling species for me? I'm not sure. Still it looks intriguing nonetheless. Can't wait to see your next video review Matthew! :)

Surprised that PNSO released this figure. The release of newly described animals is usually done by CollectA . But, PNSO certainly has made the definitive template. The jawline even reflects the most up to date research which removes the cheek tissues near the beak. My one nitpick is the paint patterns are absolutely garish and would have benefited with something a bit more subdued . Earth tones can compliment any figure if done correctly. This just seems lazy. Thanks for the review.

I’m sorry Mathew. I didn’t mean to lash out. It’s just I feel like the DI type shows are dying out nobody cares about them anymore. It’s like you and Gibson and Kikizilla and Camosaurus are just forgetting about them. I don’t want them to go extinct like the animals they are about.
