Think on These Things - Few point: (my understandings) * Be open for everything. * Don't restrict yourself in a circle. * See things as it is. * Never ever hear opinion from others. * Life is all about experience. * Your brain is sand and your thoughts are seeds, and your behaviors are based on the growth of the plant. * Education should teach you "how to think?" not "what to think?." * "All are one"- it sounds simple but it has huge sense in it. * Experience everything with your own thoughts. * Life is to live not to settle. These are just a small part of that book...... If you read it, Jk will guide you.

Good stuff. He has a very strong idea that is worth adding. What is the purpose of life? He has said, in response to this question: (1) You need to find it yourself. If anyone is stupid enough to tell you, it is your misfortune and his. (2) The purpose of life is to find Truthbor God. (3) The purpose of life is to find, discover, or come upon that which is sacred, completely beyond and free of the human mind and its categories and ideas - unknown, untouched and untouchable by the mind. Far beyond it. He has said all of the above. *** He has also said that thought (as memory, words, conceptualization) is the enemy of man. Have you found something that is infinite and eternal, infiniely beyond all this? *** One of the best chapters in any of his books is titled "What Is Beauty?" (he is not dealing in the traditional version of beauty). I believe this chapter appears among the later chapters in the book titled _Meeting Life_ It was in dialogue with an engineer and friend who was very deeply questioning. Truly extraordinary. I can't recommend it enough.

I haven't read this book but I have read a lot of JK. What Brian is telling is good but he hasn't addressed or presented few of the biggest ideas of JK. Like observer is the observed and the root of all problems is the thought. Or how can we psychologically always be in the present. I personally feel that he is literally the Buddha reincarnated. After listening to him, anyone can see the way he stands out nobody does among all the philosophers in the last couple of centuries
