Hi C Shell! The turtles are taking in the sun. Beautiful sunset, it would be amazing to see a whale. I’ve seen dolphins playing and jumping where we love to go to the beach and stay. Everyday the dolphins would pass right by our hotel and head to a cove to play during the day and in the evening they would head back out to the ocean. We could sit on our balcony and watch them in the morning and evening. That was my mother’s favorite thing to do. Beautiful story of the flower and the petrified sand dunes are so interesting. You should do local tours, you have so much knowledge about the area, landscape and history of the island. 😊 Have a blessed evening ❤️

Thank you, Willow. I really enjoy sharing the knowledge as we are all a part of this wonderful place. I am out as much as I can to try to see the whales. They are tricky little buggers. But, mamas are giving birth & the rest of the pods are protecting them. Tis a beautiful world we live in. I hope I can catch a whale breaching or maybe some spinner dolphins in the bay. I am a beach kid & wish I could spend all day there. Aloha, Willow! 🙏

Aloha, Linda! I think the house down the street owns the peacocks but from what I understand, they, like the cows & goats, go up & down the valley in & out of everyone's property. We had many more males but I heard a neighbor say that she wish she could "get rid of them" but in more harsh terms, because they squawk in the morning. Well, so do the thousands of chickens that run all over the islands now & some people want to do away with them too. So, that is why I consider them my friends. I pray for them & talk to them every chance I get. And, you know something? They always are kind & loving. I enjoy them & honor their spirits while I can.
