One time I gad a big buck at 200 yards during muzzeloader season. I was staring at it walking wishing I could push 200 with my muzzeloader and same deal. BOOM. Except the buck ran. Out walked a pumpkin man from neighbours.. il never forget that one.

Hunting on the ground with no orange is plain stupid. Crossing a property line is unlawful. I hunt from a stand in the middle of lease property but still wear orange, you can never be to careful around dumbasses who shoot at noises in the woods. Don't be discouraged, come up with a new strategy, maybe wind direction or some kind of lure, or call or rattle.I hate it for you. It sucks you wait all year for opening morning and this crap happens.

Yep. To many people moving south out of other states up north and don't understand how we do things around the southern states. I'm in a little town in Georgia. I've already had 7 people just this year walking around on my 45 acres. Camera picture with small kids. 4 wheels rider down the pipeline where i hunting. Game warden said the posted signs I had up ment nothing to the trespassers. However the 500 dollar ticket will help reduce the problem. I reported it because if someone does get hit because of me hunting. It's been reported and the trespassers know it's posted private property.

Poachers piss me off they shot a spike that spike couldve been a big deer i understand if you're doing for food but most people in my area do it for rack size i had a big 9 point come up on Sunday on opening weekend of rifle but i missed him at 82 yards and some how missed him

They have the right to take whatever they want especially on their ground. They were not poaching. Mine your own f****** business.

Well in their defense, you don't have to weat orange as a landowner, they did tresspass to retrieve.

In Tennessee you do
@FishingwithFro20 күн бұрын
@@shaneshonda no you sure don't as a landowner. Read tennessee code 70-4-124 and specifically says that it doesn't apply to persons hunting on their own property.

@FishingwithFro that's ridiculous because people can see onto your property from 360°. resident land owner means your residence is there not just land you hunt

If you don’t want your land hunted you best post it and post it properly!! In my state in the book it states any land is hunt-able unless posted and posted needs to be every 60’. It’s encouraged to get land owners permission but if it’s not “posted” it technically is “fair game” .. who shoots spikes tho. 🤮 🤦🏼
@jonathanyates51982 ай бұрын
Who shoots spikes? People that like to eat meat instead of looking at an empty freezer. I don't care what kind of antlers a deer has as long as it puts meat in the freezer. As far as going on property not posted, that is false. Trespassing on property not posted still gets you a nice $500 fine
