Hi, thank you for showing us your box- it's really beautiful. Hoe do you use it - do you hold it in yyhand, when you're painting, using the thumbhole?

Thanks. Thumb hole was barely used. I just put it on my lap and free to do whatever I want anywhere.

4/25/2021 USA Grandpa Bill: Kaustav, I love your little box. I've looked at many boxes on KZbin and yours shows superior engineering design. As a woodworker, I can tell that whoever made your box put care into it. I like it so well that I'm going to make one of my own. I don't have any teak. I imagine that teak is much more readily available in your country than in the USA. I'll check into our wood suppliers here. Otherwise, I'll make mine out of cedar, or maybe walnut. The box is such that it deserves excellent craftsmanship, like a jewel in a fine setting. Gustav, I wish you well and hope -pray- you are avoiding the Covid. May you and yours be free of it.

Thank you. It's better that you make out of plywood to get rid off hassle with wood. However nowadays beechwood is more common for art products as it is lightweight. Again thank you for wishing well for us. I had my stint last year and spent 22 days in the hospital. Got an idea of a medical painting while I couldn't even move. Right now working on that large painting and covid has come back to India with a bang, making it more relevant. Stay well. Regards Kaustav

@@KaustavMukherjeeFineArt Ohhh..I am so sorry you suffered so. I hate the stuff as much as I hate tornadoes...useless suffering and dying. And yes, I see the news of India and it is terrible. Medical painting: I have been having urges to paint gentle happy paintings that could help patients in hospital or at home.

Not sure about art stores. WN Sennelier artist grade you can buy on Amazon. Rest can be imported but will cost a fortune.
