Thank you, Natasa, I make these for tip envelopes when I travel. I tuck $$, a little thank you tag, and a piece or two of candy or gum and leave it for the cabin steward, housekeeping, wait staff, or whoever. I also take them in my purse often an randomly give them to a clerk or receptionist. New decorating ideas from you!

We made these in 3 rd grade when learning oragami in art class. It could be a pocket and/or a container to drink from if you drank really fast! Lol She taught us so many fun and interesting things. Mrs. Strong was my favorite teacher! That was almost 60 years ago!

I made 50 of these last year for Christmas gifts for all of my coworkers, putting a winter flavored tea bag, silver spoon from the Dollar Tree, and a single package of Stevia in it, and then put it in a 4x6 resealable clear envelope, with a paper topper on it. I could also get some matching chipboard elements that I stuck on the front downward triangle too, for the Echo Park paper. They loved it! I bought the double sided paper either from Michael's or Tuesday Morning- these are great for gift giving of little items.

Love these...!! I wish that I could say, I've been living under that rock with you! But I've know about them for a couple of years now. I made them as tea favors. You place an individually wrapped tea bag or two in the pocket. I even found tiny plastic silver spoons and placed them in the pocket, as well. I've punched out a tiny hole at the top point....added a tiny stamped teapot image on a punched out circle with a hole punched in it, too. Then I tied it up with bakers twine making a small bow. I wish i could take credit for the idea. But I first saw Amber make these on LyricLoverCrafts. I made tons for a craft fair for this year. Now I don't even know if there will be any craft fairs, Just thankful that I hadn't purchased all the tea to go in them yet...lol Thank you for reminding me of them. Now I want to make mini ones for my small journal! Hugs n Luv 💕 Suzy

Haven't made these in ages. Love them especislly the little ones. The large one could be littke surprise packages. Put a hole on top and a ribbon to hang from it on someone's door knob. Place a fresh flower and a few goodies. What a lovely package of cheer. You could bske sone cookies, put them in a plastic bag and slide them in eith a recioe card. Lovely coworker gifts for the holidays. If we ever get back to normsl life. Good time to make them up for when you can use them. TFS. I did. 🙏💌

Telling about people who made these in elementary school reminded me of the zines that are popular. I used those in the 1980s when I taught middle school. They're definitely not new. I've not thought of making different sizes of these little pockets. Tiny ones with a message inside would be wonderful on the front of greeting cards. Thanks for the inspiration! ...off to do some folding....

Natasha, this is a great project... I made three different sizes and put one inside the other... they are only attached to each other on the front flap which makes for a triple pocket behind... I also didn't glue down the bottom front flap, so that it can open up and hide secret writings underneath... this is great fun!..

Sometimes I think I have been under a rock a lot. Thank you for the great idea and excellent explanation. I am making one of them for everyone on my Christmas list. We are under lockdown here in Manitoba so I am mailing cash and gift cards. I am using your pocket envelopes and making coin envelopes to put in them, closing them with a hidden paperclip. I also am not gluing the envelopes so the kids, and possibly the adults, can open them and draw or write.

It's funny. I never thought about it until you said people have been making these in primary school. Yes! I do remember them. We made them at Valentine's to hold our cards we got in c lass. We decorated them then taped them to our desk to collect those cute little cards all the moms so lovingly bought or made for their little ones who really didn't want to be handing out cards with mushy sentiments on them but happily munching love cookies and little hard candies hahaha. Oh ! Those were the days. 😁💞

Crawling out from a landslide of boulders. 73yrs and I’ve never seen these. Just think of all the teeny tiny ones I could have made for the tooth fairy for my 24 gkids. I’ll make a thousand of these to hang on Christmas tree. Such fun with all the last years wrapping paper. TTYFT

Loved this! Thanks! I so needed something to be doing with paper and my hands but was not willing to commit to a bigger junk journaling project at the monument! The shape reminds me of Chineses food takeout containers and the process of making Origami folding cups when I was a really young child. So, now I’m hungry... gotta go

Instead of gluing triangle flaps I tucked one inside the other gluing I did 1 triangle. Tis allowed me to open it so you could use them as popcon or gift holders. Also at work the kids loved making them
