As I stated years ago....style has died with rock steady. No one can make it look as good as they did. For people saying, it's about pleasing crowds with "flashy things" it's always been that way lol. Technique and quality of the execution is always what I look at. It's harder to compare the skill sets from these 2 because of their specialties, power vs traditional style. But as always, the crowd will always pick what looked more entertaining, and power will ALWAYS win

Idk I feel like people are misunderstanding style. When I was watching, both had style. Style doesn't just mean: not powermoves. If you look at Pocket, he has style in his powermoves. Powermoves is his personality and he's displaying it for us to watch. I for sure would have said it was a tie.

If you guys see pocket's round's his transitions are actually all on beat and his power moves make sense. It's no just random crap thrown together. His stuff is pretty high level and it all has purpose or at least a lot of it does. Watch, don't just judge. Idk about Kazuki's first two rounds. Seemed like he just threw stuff out there. Kazuki rocked the floor and Pocket banged it. It was anyone's game. Kazuki had the style power mix flow but Pocket went clean with difficult level powermoves. If you know your powermove variations, Pocket did A LOT. Much love to Kazuki though. Big fan of his. Though this one really was up in the air. Props to POCKET!

First time watching either of these guys, Kazuki actually dances and grooves with unique variation. Pocket spins constantly with minor variations. They're both amazing but I felt Kazuki was more dance style and artist.

I think Kazuki won it for me. There was just more variation to his sets and it didnt feel super repetitive. I understand Pocket's a powerhead, but he didnt have any footwork whatsoever (even if he was dishing up some super hard moves).

I know a lot of people in the comments are like "how on earth did Kazuki lose this?" for me style for sure beats power, but I genuinely think pocket won this. When it boils down to round by round yes pocket's moves looked similar but they were all variations. Kazuki had very short rounds, his 3rd round lasting only about 15 seconds. Pocket also stuck his freezes better than Kazuki's. I also noticed where pocket had very basic and short top rock, kazuki had almost none. 3 out of 4 times I would say Kazuki would win agains pocket but this just happened to be one of those times.... All I know is this was one of the best and most respectful battles of the night! props to both dancers.

I totally agree. pocket won simply because his sets were different each time, which for a power mover is difficult, so props. but I'm not a big fan of pocket because he lacks a lot of elements of boy like a Good top rock and not his little gather he does to go into his power move. I mean come on...not even any ground work...but he won. I would have voted for kabuki because he simply had a bigger variety to offer besides power.

Looks like Breakdancing is taking that turn that bodybuilding has. Style, uniqueness, Dancing, and flowing with the music is no longer what is judged; it's more who can please the crowd with "flashy things" including your reputation. Pocket has been doing the same thing for years now, it's boring to watch, and no longer visually pleasing. I can respect his power moves, but a lot of it comes from his small body, height, and build. He's able to build momentum easier than many due to his build. Even with Kazuki's small mistakes, he was actually breakdancing, with unique moves at high difficulty. I couldn't give this to Pocket, even if I was forced, Kazuki should have won this. Power moves (only) should be left for power move competitions.

Judges decision 3-2 ,Focus and Cico to Kazuki Roc ,when i see the result i feel like crazy !!!!! I know Lamine mostly will to dynamics level(u can check back RED BULL BC ONE 2011.he not vote for Roxrite and you all can clearly see already ), i respect the judges decision but i just wanna said is today one of the judges is not Lamine and Wing and change to judges like Ken Swift , Crazy Legs ,Katsu 1, Tomo ,Dyzee etc , i think Kazuki will took this no doubt, he hav strong foundation , originality(check his signature backspin and footwork) , and he clearly show his confidence level and dope musicality !!!! What Pocket show just dynamics (but he really confidence too) and too many repeat( u can check he clearly repeat air flare every round!!!!!!!!!) . If today are using OUR System like R16 , i think Kazuki clearly took it base on foundation, originality, and battle.....
