Most people are giving negative comments instead of appreciating the filmmaker .... according to my point of view I think it's telling about our society that most of the people are still unknown about periods and he is shown one of them great work for making this film and letting people know about periods ❤️👍

I am totally surprised how come few people dislike the short film . generally this may happen the father play role of mother wherein he have to handle every situation by his own but sometime he himself don't understand what he have to do neither he can discuss "" men will be men they don't know how to express their emotion . inshort ( "FATHER" is always real hero for her daughter.)

Thankfully my mom is alive so she told me about periods at the age of ten with no shame. My mom is also a doctor. I can talk to both my parents about periods and all the others should also not feel nervous speaking to their parents or children about. It is normal finomena. @Randy-tp5lm Жыл бұрын
Superstition exists because we men in America often see it as a taboo from what society often negatively thinks about girls; especially young ones;need to understand. That it's a natural process, it's what the Creator (God,and the Holy Trinity gave them, since I'm Catholic) had intended to be. And that not all men fear something that they just don't understand. Ever watched some flick starring Nicholas Cage and (I'm sorry to say this,but I don't remember her name. Or I don't know her name.) the then-younger actress,? Who had went to the same thing?😮 Nicholas Cage's character in the movie, being so awkward, awfully nervous,and so........well,not being open-minded? (That may not be the right term .😮) Anyway, it's something that in most cultures around the world, particularly in countries in the African continent, it's prejudice that really is the culprit of why most men often think it's the girl's/young woman's fault. It's not. It's something that we people have to deal with. And be educated about something like this. It's essentially important to discuss that with female nurses and doctors to make informed decisions about what to do,what to expect,and what precautions she should take. Men who are uninformed about it should get educated without fear,shame,or ridicule. To me, it's nothing to be ashamed about. Watch an underrated little-known flick by Sundance films, called"Thirteen" , starring (or had starred) - damn! I don't remember her name! It's been So long! I think it was Evan Rachel Wood. And the other one was Holly Hunter. The voice actress who had starred in the then-popular animated series),the Incredibles. And you'll see what I'm talking about.
@Randy-tp5lm Жыл бұрын
@@gobindagouda1300Well, education is one of the things that nobody can take away from you. (girls/young women in particular anywhere in the world,even in America). Misinformation is not good. Superstition without merit,or a good reason,is not a good way to go about it. When men who are uninformed about any of something like this, often fear of something they don't understand. Being sexist sure as heck doesn't make situations like that any better. What they (girls/young women ) need is ❤ and understanding. Not prejudice.
@archanasingh-ij5fs5 жыл бұрын
Answer it in the simple and best way you can, with least of hesitation and more of support and care to the young girl who is going to face this challenge every month. It's a strong message that will change her life. Given in the positive and best way can always be motivating for the girl. Lot's more to say, but some other time. Educate male and female child about their physique and physical, mental and emotional changes that they are going to encounter in the near future.

Possibly, single male parents do find it tough to deal with menarche n puberty related issues of their daughters, as men aren't trained to handle such matters. This is why sex education is so important in secondary school, so that boys are sensitised about the challenges faced by their female co-students and perhaps learn to treat girls n women more compassionately and respectfully instead of ridiculing a natural physiological process which every girl goes thru from her early teens. In rural areas many girls drop out of schools due to lack of toilets for them which is a shame. Wonder how rural single male parents deal with the situation shown in this film.

hey, I think this is a really good attempt... I know this is a taboo topic in a few rural and uneducated areas, but we have to educate them in this media rather than just show their situation. Still, I think makers of this film is must be amateur and newbies, as use shots and basic editing. They make a good topic into a boaring documentary. Everyone in this film looking clueless about their job. I think the director must be a bachelor or he never talks any lady about it. Because who's situation has been showing in it. If a girl then there is not showing any her feelings. and if it is of a father then no frustrating no confusion no awareness. still, it is good to say pocket film promotes such new and raw talent. it will help them in the future.
