You can save the skin from shrimp and add it while making broth with the fish head as well; along with other things that you might usually throw away like the ends of an onion that you chop up.

That is a wonderful idea, Chris, thank you for sharing! I still need to try fried shrimp heads 😋 I've made one batch of stock so far that I froze immediately and when I get enough carcasses again I'll make another batch and I'm hoping to use them to make a nice seafood medley! Happy fishing 🎣
