I couldn’t live without the battery life that the Ultra 2 offers me: three nights with sleep monitoring and three days with 1 hour of walking per day. Notifications disabled and a dark background display, more readable in all lighting conditions and low consumption. Fantastic! ❤

I still love the Ultra because of the battery life benefits. Is it a bit bulkier? Sure, but I always wore Casio G-SHOCK-style watches before a smart watch, so the bulk isn't a deal breaker.

I was on the fence with the ultra.. I couldn’t justify $800 for a different color. I was coming from the AW 4 and decided on the 10 46mm Happily surprised! Went with the silver because I don’t think the jet black would not scratch . My theory is if I like the next ultra maybe trade in? If u on the fence go with the 10 Trust me I wanted the Ultra real bad

I was in the same boat except I was on AW 6. I tried to wear the ultra for a while and as much as i like the flat face, I prefer the thin body on the 10. I wish they would allow the ultra watch face since it has the screen space. For the cost, I’m really happy with the 10 vs the ultra.

I easily get 24hrs with a charge and 45 minutes to an hour to fully charge. That’s taking off to shower etc. in the mornings.

I’m over the bulky Watch Ultra its always in the way. so I’m buying a Watch 10 sure I will miss Action button, the larger battery but the Watch 10 has quick charging. I can work around the action button. I’m sold on how thin it is plus the “larger” display

IMO the Ultra is still the better watch for me. I am happy with the battery life and feels like a sturdier watch. I know I have it on and I like that. Not switching back to the regular watch

I just upgraded to series 10 from series 8 and happy I did. Finally figured out how to get full reporting from Vitals app, and not disappointed with losing O2 reading but gaining temp.

It looks quite vintage (if not a mod, which I'm inclined to say because of the Rolex style hour hand and the crown at 3). Closest you can get might be an SNK063 with a similar case shape and arabic numerals, but with Seiko's dauphine hands and a black dial.

Both sensors failed on my new Apple Watch 10 after 6 weeks use. Waiting to hear from Apple in the UK regarding how they are going to deal with it. Not happy with the time it’s taking not happy with the watch either given it’s very early self destruction

@ how do you work that out mastermind? The Apple diagnostic said failure of the sensors as in they failed they were not damaged hence they are providing a new watch. Perhaps stick to commenting on things you understand

I have the series 9 LTE and after seeing your review I dont think I will upgrade to the 10 (yet...). However, I am an android user but a year ago I bought an iPhone 14 pro with the watch 9 with the idea to switch. Now, a year later, I am back in my Pixel environment including the Pixel Watch 3. Biggest pus is that the Google AI functions actually work over here in The Netherlands (Apple's do not). I must admit however that no matter how improved the pixel watch 3 is, it does not have the smooth and fully intgerated experience the Apple Watch has. The Apple Watch just feels like the more premium and develeoped product. I know you tested the Pixel Watch 3 also. How do you feel about this difference ? I mean both have the same functionalities etc but IMHO the Apple watch does it all better.

Well, if you raise the AW10 to the same level as the AWU2 in terms of feel, with scratch-resistant glass, titanium, etc., then you're in the same price range. The AWU 2 would offer more, longer battery life, be even more robust, be 100M waterproof and have functions that the AW10 doesn't have... I think I would then know which model I would choose. The AW10 would only really be an option for me if I liked the look of it more and I would stick with the basic configuration, so that the price would make the big difference.

I’ve used Gear Sport and two Apple Watches (SE 1 and Series 9) As a smartwatch, Apple Watches are FAR superior! As a health tracker, it’s excellent too. Battery life is the only major downside. After tweaking a few settings (mainly AOD ON, raise to wake OFF and background app refresh OFF), I get about 36 hours of battery on a less active day with 30% remaining. On days with more activity and a 1 hour workout, it’s more like 20% remaining after 36 hours of use. I feel that’s good enough for me. SE battery was significantly lower and without AOD of course. Series 9 also charges faster.

I mentioned innovation for a reason...Apple watches have had one day battery for how many years? If you have to turn off features to make it last over a day and that's okay with you. They own you. Samsung isn't even the benchmark. Huawei and Oppo are way better in the battery department.

@@daliso8o8 why do you people get so stuck on battery life I wear mine all day and workout in it every day with the always on display and the wrist wake feature on and the brightness turned up all the way and I wear it from 430 am to 10 pm and it still has 25 percent left sometimes half I put it on the charger when I go to bed and I'm good, unless you are wearing it to bed to track your sleep why would you need a bigger battery unless you're just lazy and that sleep tracking is worthless it can have false readings and at best it will say you might have a issue then you still have to go to your doctor to get tested and if you don't already know something is wrong you don't need to be tested , you know if you're having problems sleeping or not if you have any thought you might have a problem just ask your doctor and they will ask you questions and will let you know if you need to be tested , there is no way if you have a sleep problem you don't have a idea that you might the watch isn't going to make a difference
