@@atr4853 it's basically how something is filmed or shot. So for instance if you used Instagram back in the old days all images were posted in a 1:1 ratio meaning it always looked like a square. The number on the left is the width while the number on the right is for height 1(width):1(height). To explain it more, you know how you go to the movie theatre and the movie always has the black bars at the top and the bottom? It would be because the the way it was filmed was in 16:4 (these aren't exact ratios I'm just throwing out numbers for the sake of explaining) but when the movie comes out on dvd they would release it in full screen and make it 16:8 to fit your television. I hope this helps and makes sense. I haven't done film in a long time so it's a little hard for me to explain

Please! Please stop saying that "you are okay" with phones getting more and more expensive. The only reason we see these crazy 1000+ dollar phones is because people keep buying them. If we all said "no", prices would quickly drop. Tech reviewers have a very big responsability here for saying things like "The OnePlus 8 is a cheap phone". It's far from being cheap. I only wish more reviewers would actually say "NO" to phone manufacturers and let them know they've gone to far. Stop suggesting 500, 600, 700 dollars is cheap for a phone, that is crazy! Xiaomi releases way too many phones that lack too many bands, features are nice, but the phone should be able to make phone calls first and foremost before being a great at anything else. For the premium feel and also to stay relevant. Consumers relate glass back these days to premium quality whether it's premium or not. Also plastic and aluminium backs lack durability just the same but in different spectrums. Glass backs especially Corning glass although they are shatter prone, glass is hard material on the Mohs scale. Which means they don't scratch easily from keys and coins or most hard materials except certain minerals. Having plastic backs and aluminium which are lower on the scale means they scratch and scar easily. Imo scratches are harder to avoid than shattering. It's easier to not drop Ur phone than to be constantly aware of things scratching Ur phone. So it's a give and take. Each has their own factor in durability. Both weaknesses can be solved with a good case and screen protector which makes both our points irrelevant

I'm just saying I ALWAYS use the headphone jack, sometimes I use headphones whilst charging, i use Bluetooth if I'm in the gym or outside, but apart from that I am still using the headphone jack (plus I'm using a Sony Xperia xz premium, which means I have a high quality jack) I still use the headphone jack and I hope it does make a comeback!

I imagine not a lot of those things are going to be applicable for most users. *LPDDR5 RAM* RAM is already incredibly fast and energy efficient so the upgrade from LPDDR4X isn't that major. From LPDDR3, sure. That said, technological advances are always welcome. *Liquid cooling* I remember when the Meizu 16th claimed this and in reality it wasn't that much different to current smartphone cooling systems. Besides, for actual water cooling, you'd need to power a pump to move the water around, else you'd need to resort to "bong cooling" which is not practical for a phone at all. *UFS 3.1 storage* The speed upgrades on this are actually pretty impressive: 3x over 3.0. Download speeds won't change because then the bottleneck will be your internet connection, but you will be able to transfer data to and from a computer or a storage device much faster. There will still be bottlenecks elsewhere, depending on the interface you're moving data over. But all in all, this is likely the most useful out of the four mentioned by a country mile. *120 FPS front facing video camera* Yeah that's cool and all but...are people clamoring for slow motion selfie videos? Maybe there are, but this isn't very interesting overall. More of a gimmick than anything unless there really is interest for slow-mo films of themselves.

The UI on iPhones is buttery smooth. They don't need the 120 refresh to feel snappy. Only reason he said he wanted it at a higher price point is because the UI was laggy and a higher refresh would help. iPhone doesn't need better hardware to help it feel responsive, the UI is built well for the hardware they have now. I hope they add the 120 in the iPhone 12, just to have it for gaming or whatever, but I wont really be disappointed if it isn't there.
