I got the 256GB white model yesterday and I absolutely love it. I used to buy OnePlus phones but they stopped catering for users like me. All I care about is flagship grade performance, a big, smooth display, reliable battery life, good speakers and haptics - and a decent camera for when I need it (not that often). I am willing to pay up to £400 for all of that but luckily the 256GB F3 only cost £329 (early bird price - since risen to £349).

I dont even get why the camera is such an important thing to so many people. Every photo in our family photo album was taken with a cheap camera from 2000. The photos are'nt too blurry so that you couldnt look at them and they perfectly serve as memories of a better time. So yeah you could get a 1000€ phone with the best smartphone camera on the market, but it still wont perform as good as an actual camera for this price. So if your priority is amazingly sharp photos, why not just buying a nice camera? And for some Instagram or Snapchat photos even the F3's camera is more than enough. No one will scroll through Instagram and like your photo, just because its a little higher resolution.

im actually really fed up watching reviews and searching for the best phone for me its so confusing so many options. one person says this and other says that .. i think u cn give me some valid options. so look heres my simple requirement im not bothered abt camera and not into gaming etc. budget 30k 5g needed strong battery super fine touch display so when watching utube or browsing scrolling etc i need a high class experience .. i dont care wich OS or processor but it has to be quick so when i open watsap FB email or make a call etc those apps must launch quick in a flash. i dont want to keep changing phones i just want to buy 1 to use at least for the next few years pls suggest

When I do totally agree with you on the camera aspect, I can't deny my disappointment why would one expect a QHD panel or wireless charging (when they're literally including a 33W brick inside the box) in a budget flagship/flagship killer! WE need to think about the price bracket first before demanding these options! If it didn't house an AMOLED panel, that could've been a deal-breaker for many but 120HZ FHD AMOLED at 1300 nits peak along with HDR10+ display is already great (rather than having an IPS panel) when you know how much you're paying for this device! Regarding wireless charging, it's still considered a premium feature & you can't simply expect it to be available here in this price range! These two complaints in this video seem like a forced input to me, no hard feelings tho! We need to understand that this device is aimed at those who are asking for the best performance available without breaking the bank like flagship devices. So, there'll be some negotiations going on inside the purchaser's mind while buying this device & he should know what these trade-offs are, say Average Camera or Ads (that can be stopped) or lack of Headphone Jack or even MIUI! If they're one of his priorities, then look for another one. But if you can manage with these few negatives, then avail the best value for money option AKA Poco F3! ✌

I already bought one on their pre-order flash sale last March, but I still watched the whole video since I love your "Complaints and Takeaways" video series. I will be going for this phone for sure. This is one of the first (if not the first) attempt bij android phones to make a phone whose compute power is kept towards the flagship phones and sacrificing the camera/high end screen. Instead of the other way around. The Poco F3 has learned from the Iphone SE 2020 in a way. Who does so well because it is the only one of it's kind. And Poco F3 sort of does the same for Android.

My personal experience. Felt I got ripped off when I purchased this phone in April 2022. Phone arrived on 19 Apr. Its only 13 May today, and the phone is in the service center! Starting a few days ago, the my apps started crashing, and started to hang 2 days ago. Just this morning, when I was half way through playing Asphalt 9, the phone hung again! And after I managed to reboot the phone, it started hanging again in the game! when I reinstalled the game, the phone just went into an auto restarting mode! When I first bought the phone, I downloaded Candy Crush, and to my surprise, the phone lags a lot in the game, compared to my old phone, the Realme XT! I changed the display back to 60Hz display, it helped a bit, but still comparing to my old phone, it was no where near! I totally felt cheated buying this phone!

I honestly think you just aren't a target audience for this phone. I don't care about cameras, 30W charging is fast enough, I don't need wireless charging. Consumers are already wise on choosing their unit, prioritizing what's more important to them, regardless of how much their budget is. I guess that the impact of the smartphone market being loud for the last few yrs. Consumer always wait for the latest devices and learn more about it with your help, the content creators and techy folks. im not a photo person so im not really mad about the camera. The headphone jack issue is not that much of a problem as well as the lack of additional storage. I came from using the redmi note 7 so this is pretty much a giant upgrade for me.

I don't get it. Why reviewers kept complaining about headphone jack when you can connect wirelessly and the audio quality still as good as the wired one (maybe 2-5% are audiophiles and can tell the difference which is irrelevant) and why would you say the gamer want the headphone jack since that cable are in the way for your hand to properly hold the phone while playing?

Sorry, but I had to familiarize myself with the Pocophone Brand first... Seems like Xiaomi's answer to what OnePlus once actually WAS, and when it comes to featuring high-end processors into more affordable handsets, that isn't a bad thing these days! I'm not too upset about no QHD on the AMOLED, but the absence of a headphone jack, and when it comes to a midrange - no SD access, THOSE are both deal breakers! Otherwise, it's not at all a bad choice, especially to those that miss the old OnePlus days...

If I wanted the things you criticise I know I'd have to spend a lot more as most folks would. Want to spend £400 ? Samsung gives you 4 years security updates and 3 years android updates so that might be worth paying for but you're not going to get all those things you talk about until you break out of this price band.

Great review. I don't need the headphones jack, perfect camera, sim card or a resolution bigger than my tv's. It's the perfect phone for me and most of the users. I think miui is great and comes clean not like samsung with all the software preinstalled which makes the phone lag even from day 0. Price.. perfect. At a similar price for everyone who may read this.. guys.. a samsung at this price comes with crappy specs and you only pay brand and marketing! Compare a @200k antutu score with @700k and after decide which phone you want at the same price :|. Or compare it with iphone where hardware costs @100-200£ and they sell it with @1k. I live in China and I went for the mi 10s instead of this one, given a few added features and superb audio. With this in mind, it is almost impossible to tell the difference in performance between the 870 and the 888. I'd go as far as to say that the 870 is better due to thermal stability. Nevertheless, best buy given the price it's going for.

Can you make a video how to fix fast battery draining in f3? My phone decreases battery even when its idling or just in rest. For every 5minutes, itll decrease the battery for about 2-3. It really is annoying
