Using it for almost a year now...Gotta say buying this phone was my best decision. It was dropped from my hand in the first week,but no damage,just a slight dent on the frame,not that much visible. But i was surprised that the glass did not broke.Then i understood how strong the phone's build was,it dropped without case (almost form pocket height). Also used it during heavy rain,no problem. Battery is still solid too!!

@@andrej8676 screen on time is about 6-7 hours, sometimes it can go 8-9 hours+ (120hz always). Few hours of gaming Gaming+Normal use = 4+ hours (heavy gaming not light gaming *) In night it drains about 3~4 percent (8-9 hours of idle,wifi off, 4g signal)

I use the Poco F3 since April 2022 I love the 120Hz refresh rate (when it doesn't automatically switch to 60Hz). The phone itself is fast af. I couldn't want something faster. It can handle anything. Multitasking is perfect. I have the 6GB/128GB version.

I bought it on sale during Xiaomi Days a few months ago (the 8/256 version for €233) and it doesn't disappoint me. The only issue I have with it is that the picture gets darker on Nerflix compared to my other vod apps. I think it comes from hdr but I don't know how to fix it. I'm also skeptical about the Dolby Atmos sound, which I find weak on headphones. But no matter, I took it above all for video games and it's a beast. Genshin Impact works really well on it (~45 FPS), same for the most recent Nino Kuni-based gacha even with all the settings at maximum. Tbh I'm still having trouble with touchscreen gameplay but Xiaomi/Poco is not at fault since Mihoyo has still not made controller mode available on Android (seems like Apple is the favorite kid). In short, the Poco F3 is not perfect but I doubt that we can find better value for money.

Gotta ask, does your Genshin Impact lag when it is on max graphics? I have my Poco f3 but I don't use the max graphics because I'm afraid it will overheat and damage the chip because I'm using simcard data and always on max brightness.

@@andrej8676 it depends on many things but yesterday I had cellular data enabled and display refresh rate set to 120hz with around 80% brightness all the time it got 6:45h screen on time in 10:20 hours (95% to 5% mostly used it for KZbin and mx player) but if you use it with WiFi at 60hz and with one sim also on a newer phone (mine is charged more than 400 times) you shall get 9+ hours of screen on time

I agree with everything you said Kuya Renzo though I did not download the Poco Launcher. I experience few stutters here and there but overall Poco F3 is really value for the money and I am quite amazed whenever I am not playing games and turning airplane mode on with Wifi only the phone can last me a solid 7 to 8 hours screen on time before I have to charge it all I can say Poco F3 is really hard to beat up until now even if they release Poco F4 now it would be a tough sell considering Poco F3 uses the same chipset and it only upgraded the charging and cameras as such if many wants to buy Poco F3 now I would still recommend it especially they still sell Poco F3 here in Greenhills.

Ordered in 13 Feb 2022, got it for a good price at 1150aed (around 320usd). Died yesterday 2 December 2022, motherboard problem, the phone goes into bootloop whenever the CPU heats a bit, or turns off when pushing the CPU while using demanding apps. Note that the phone is stock, not modified in anyway, no flash nothing. This is the only phone that died on me from all the other phones I have owned, which are plenty, from premium to cheapos, and it got fried in less than a year! Even my Samsung Note II is still working fine! I used to say Poco f3 is good value, you can get 3 for the price of a premium phone, I take it back, the headache of loosing all your data during a wipe to get it to partially work again is not worth it.

POCO F3 is absolutely bonkers value for what you get, Snapdragon 870, uses LPDDR5 and UFS 3.1, camera is decent, 120hz screen, good battery life, fine it's not water resistant just splash resistant and lacks 3.5mm jack and SD card slot, however it has a big community so you don't have to worry about lack of support and on top if you dislike MIUI you can just flash Pixel Experience or LineageOS or ArrowOS. You can buy it for less than £200, madness.

There's not much difference unless you run many apps but the real question you should think is if you want the 128gb f3 or 256gb f3 since the 128gb is alright but if the storage is full you won't have an expandable storage

I was really lucky as I got a F3 8/256 from the UK mi store app with free redmi buds 3 for 194 pounds on a flash sale, I was lucky as it was the second day I decided I really need led a new phone and the F3 was on the list, no idea how a UK company could sell it for that price with 20% VAT and the crazy cost of having a business in the UK. That with a 6 month accidental screen drop policy and a 2 year guarantee. I think 33w is a sweet spot not to cause battery damage and I don't take charging bricks out and about with me apart from one in my car as you can ask at a pub, hotel or resturante to use one or one in an office but they will mostly be 20w I won a freebie on Ali express some months ago for a 20,000mh battery power bank that changes as 40w and I can get around 3.5 charges or so from it. My phone from 2018 that I bent and became hard to change I knew I needed a new phone. I looked for flagship killers as I usualy do and I found the Poco F3 8/256 in the mi UK website for 199 pounds. I was also looking at the realme GT neo2 that's very similar but not available in the UK but similar. So I downloaded the mi store app and made a profile I got 100 points that I could convert for 5 pounds off and I got a fan club card for a 25 pound off voucher and a 5 pound off first purchase voucher. I got the phone for 194 pounds and when I called Xiaomi UK they offered me a power bank or redmi buds 3 as the voucher didn't work for me. The buds are really good and the phone feels 10x faster that my old honor 10 lite. What's surprising is that the 870 performs better than the Samsung made 888 and 8 gen 1 and I doubt the 8+ gen 1 is up to much. In my opinion the 870 is the best SD chip for gaming as the 8 gen 1 thottles to 50 or 40 percent if it has not been underclocked, I'm sure the next chip after the 8+ gen 1 or the one after will be good. The dimensity 9000 and 8100 seem great but no way to put custom ROMs on. The F4GT was a failure but at least it was a K50 when the F4 came out I thought it was a joke l, exact same phone with a slightly better cam and faster charging. On eBay in the UK you can get them from people that got alot on sale for 250 260 but since the F4 came out the F3 is stuck at 350 with a 30 discount and F4 400 with a 30 discount. I don't know what Poco was thinking with the F4 they could have called it the F3 pro but it's just a K40s Even the Xiaomi 12x has the same chipset. It's crazy how many new phone's have come out with the 870 recently. Even at 330 pounds it's a very good value phone, a freind did get the F4 GT but on most games on ultra I got a higher FPS and his phone was crazy hot draining battery and the screen was dim. Dimensity is in no rush to discount the price as they know they are on top but when Snapdragon get back on their feet at least healthy competition will occur. Maybe the F3 could get more years of updates as the F4 is the same chipset. I'm not going to bother with a custom ROM as I feel the stock android 12 one is fine and 13 has been confirmed. Best 194 I have ever spent and I love the phone so much it's great the standard redmi buds 3 are better than the standard apple air things from a year or 2 ago. I used my GFs phone to order a blue nillkin frosted case for a penny from Ali baba as it was a new user deal. It's crazy grippy and slim so it just sticks to your hand for one handed use and it's only 6 pounds to buy everyone on the F3 Reddit said it's the best. I asked around for what screen protector I should use, don't keep the stock one oknmore than a few weeks as it can cause damage, I got an ibywind screen protector with back glass protector and steel self adhesive camera protector. Paid 2 pounds for a phone store to put it on for me but they messed up the first one but the second one was fine so charged me nothing, even though I use a case the back cover is a nice plus and the steel self adhive cam protector means no way you could scratch the lenses, surprisingly no fitment issues with the case and still has a lip,. The guy wrote faulty on his business card and told me to send it back to Amazon for a refund, they refunded me hahahaha I feel with this phone's specs it will last a long time, Xiaomi sells battery's for only 8.30 never buy a battery from a non official or non trusted manufacturer and the out of warantee repairs are reasonable with a screen costing 65 pounds and the labour would be around 30. It's amazing how many people have tuned custom ROMs for this phone and even if not in a deal it's a great price. When I was first looking for a new phone I wanted the realme GT neo 2 or Poco F3 and with a 2 year warantee but realme UK did not sell them and they are crazy expensive from the EU. I really don't mind the 33w limit as I feel it's fast enough, charging bricks don't cost much and it won't damage the battery, I don't care about 3.5 as I have gone wireless for years you can get some decent buds for 30 pounds or less. I even don't mind the lack of an SD card slot as a real high capacity fast one is expensive so many are fake over 64gb and with free cloud services with 100gb I don't mind it. 256 is quite alot of storage for a phone. The camera is pretty good with the right app also.

In terms of power like for playing games yes its a bit more better, it has less heat because while playing on an iPhone it heats up fast, for camera and battery the iPhone wins of course but for the price of the poco f3 it has a decent camera great battery an amoled screen and a huge power sd870 to play games with
