I don't think the snapdragon 778 is faster than the 870, the snapdragon 870 was literally marketed as a flagship grade chip over a year ago and the snapdragon 778 as a midrange chip plus the snapdragon 870 edges up in performance like 20-30% both in CPU and GPU and also in some speed test

870 is factual better than 778.People complain about poco since it uses old chip but need to remember that 870 was stable than 888.

I have 12 lite, snap870 is way way better. Its a flagship CPU, 778+ is a mid range

870 is better than 888 and i can only see as SoC upgrade is dimensity 8100 but it will be -gcam and mediatek is just entering mid class market so poco just cant put TSMC's snap 8 gen1 cos its too, and 888 is worst SoC of all time so the only healthy choise is keeping the 870 otherthan (remember with poco X4 Pro jesus downgrade) so thats perceft 870! and 870 is flagshiip, better than 778g midrange and about 30-45% faster overal better 2. nd is OIS(optical image stabilisation) is thing that saves the cameras! no matter u have 200mp image sensor without OIS wouldbe worst in pratical use cases other than 64 with OIS! + poco is just can't make good processing at that price range phone so u hardcore u probably forget about standart camera app and install best gcam for poco f4 it will be massiveeeee improvement and be godlike with OIS u know LPDDR5 + UFS 3.1 + 870 + OIS + gcam + nice desing(subjective) + fast charge + nice Amoled E4 have it and it will be just ok :D

I have tested both chipsets and just for info, the sd778 is a midrange chip, and the sd 870 is a 2 year old flagship chip, even though the size is different, the performance of flagship chip is incomparable to a midrange chip, so saying sd 778 is better than sd 870 is a really false claim. No hate.,love ur videos, just an honest feedback

Just saying, a gaming phone such as black shark 5 using sd870 had no problem running max settings 60 fps on genshin impact, and I don't think any gaming phone would use a midrange soc such as sd778G and it's not even the sd778G+ which is the slightly better version, tho i completely agree the rest of the video totally on spot i love the review, but if there's one thing i might disagree 778G is nowhere near an ex flagships soc with the likes of sd865+ or sd870

The speaker on the front facing camera was better on the f4 picture was very bright on the f4 not so good the 12 lite is the better phone in part the f4 has a couple of things going for it bigger screen bigger battery plus the 870 has a better better cpu and gpu score than the 778g I would go with the f4 depending on how many software updates it gets

Interesting viewpoint to see this today, as I have ordered my second Poco F4, since my Poco F3 died. The price point between the Poco F4 and 12 Lite is nominal. However, the 12 Lite still seems to be a Lite vs the full. If I could afford well then the 13 Pro is what I would take. Again, photography is not really vastly different between both the F4 and 12 Lite. Battery capacity does and will matter, hopefully with the next edition of Xiaomi phones if they either improve the battery or the software to optimize and not drain - it will be a welcome option to look forward to.

Poco F4 better for audio recording but why so white if Poco take picture, recording video and take selfie? Poco F4 have best n smooth gaming experience compare Xiaomi 12 lite have better camera compare Poco F4 but bad for video recording Xiaomi 12 lite sound to deep just like somebody block the mic

778G is not better than 870. just cause a chipset is made on lower nm process doesnt mean its better. performance of 778G is actually inferior to 870.

A great video but wish there was more to it especially the audio pickup on video and more of that weird warping effect on the main lens of the Poco F4.. Had those issues been fixed you know? And it would be nice if you can make a video of using Gcam on these two phones please. Cheers.

GSM Arena list the Poco F4 and M4 Pro as using the same OmniVision main camera sensor, no OIS on the M4 Pro. If accurate, it helps explain why the F4 is inconsistent. The F4 and 12 Lite both are forgettable phones.

@@AdamLoboTV I have Mi 11 Lite 5G ( 5nm SD780G) and Poco F3 (SD870). In wild life extreme tests, Mi 11 Lite 5G best loop is 844, worst is 688, stability is 81,5%. Poco F3 best loop 1218, worst 1104, stability 90,6%. Both devices wormed up 40°.

The thing is, video resolution dosn't matter. Dynamic Range matters. So many films are made in lower than 4k resolution. So why are you talking about resolution like it is a factor in how good a camera is. It's just a number. It's like megapixel count doesn't matter. My phone has more megapixel than my camera but the camera takes way better photos and videos, even if I just record in 1080p

Video resolution does play a role for many factor from sharpness and also compression dear boy, do your research before being a smart ass man, I shoot in 6k resolution for all of my videos and seen the difference in sharpness and KZbin’s compression compare to shooting in 4k or 1080p, you do you and keep shooting in 1080p and upload it on Instagram or other social media platforms then you will see, smh

I have the mi 11 lite and 12 lite cameras are both almost the same, as described in the video, the 12 lite macro camera mode is very ugly much better than 11 Lite, I think the 12 lite upgrade is only on the processor, 67 fast charging, and of course the price. 108mp cameras and 32mp front camera are gimmicks, Hopefully Xiaomi provides a good software update to improve the good image processing😢

Hey Adam, I totally agree with the picks in your video. I’m very disappointed poco didn’t use a different chip. I think they could’ve done much better. MACRO LENSES ARE THE MOST SHAMMY THINGS PHONE COMPANIES CAN DO. Oh well, I think I would choose some poco camera shots over the 12 lite but that is minor.
