Impressed by the long exposure shots? Even the POCO X3 NFC from 3 years ago has that, not only that but it records in 4K & has dual video recording! I bought one for £179 brand new 3 years ago.

Because of OIS. Xiaomi doesn't optimize stabilisation for main camera. The OIS and EIS doesn't match enough to stabilise video.

There's some flaws in this camera, of course, but I think for elderly people it's more than enough. I bought it for my grandma and she's upgrading from Redmi Note 5 plus to Poco m6 pro :)

Redmi note 10 pro is the best of all mid range it can record upto 4k and pro mode gives manual focus 🤩 i make my videos with that phone

True, 10 pro does have a decent cam. I did find mine to kinda degrade over time but I've had mine since release and it was in HEAVY use every day. Until it died in the rain one day. Got m6 pro and for night shots you absolutely do need to prop your phone up against something but after fiddling with settings it can produce good night time pics. Just don EVER use night mode cuz it's absolutely atrocious. Much worse than note 10 pro. Manual settings help A LOT. All in all for a cheaper phone it's pretty good. Note 13 pro is exactly the same except it has better camera. It's about 35% more expensive tho and falls into mid-range while this one is cheap so it really is very decent for the price.

@@DariuszTech Yes, it is a flagship, I actually bought it second hand, but as I mentioned, wouldn't it make sense to change the battery and use it, because it is a phone with great features and performance. Yes, it will not receive security and updates, will these cause major problems? Won't it last me at least a year or two? Instead of spending money now, I'm thinking of just paying for the battery and buying a better one in the future, wouldn't that make sense?

I ordered it because I like the design and the features. But I'm afraid that the camera's video recordings are not good and it will be returned. The shots at night are blurred, in wide-angle mode absolutely terrible. In the 64MP daytime shot you are impressed with the stabilization, but don't address the constant focus pumping at all. I'm curious to see if it can convince me.

You have to remember this is a budget camera phone. If you had a flagship or even a mid-range such as Poco F3 you will be disappointed

whats up with all those bad cameras in the last generations of xiaomi and poco... The redmi note 9 from 2019. has a better camera and does even do 4K. Or the Poco x3. And today we get this. Wabbeling focus... bad grainy quality at night. and only 1080p.
