I had the same issue on mine, and I think this is a common issue from the horrible design for this flex cable. I kept thinking the fault was in the board connector, so pressing down on the connector with tape or twisting out the power contacts on the edge of the board side connector tends to help add more pressure for a while, which helps but doesn't solve the issue. So I checked my flex cable and I have the same solder cracks shown here. I soldered over it with leaded solder and now it's working perfectly. I would guess that this is caused by the sharp bend in the flex cable near that connector where it transitions from the top of the battery down to the board. Thank you very much for sharing this.
