All right. Let's assume that the O-Fence-Sive fence system is a 6 ft privacy fence - obviously, you don't want your awful neighbor's peeking in. Cost per lineal foot for a 6 ft privacy fence in 2019 is $8-20 on average. Using Julien's $0.02/sq in measurement, we'll need to do some unit manipulation to determine if his price is fair. Let's take a 10'x20' backyard that uses one side of the house as the fence. That would leave us with 10', 20', and another 10' side of the rectangle. A 10' panel that's 6' tall is 60 sq ft of area. A 20' panel that's 6' tall is 120 sq ft. That's a total perimeter surface area of 240 sq ft. However, to change that unit to square inches, we would need to multiply that number by 144 square inches, as there are 144 sq inches in 1 sq ft. Meaning we're looking at 34,560 square inches. At Julien's cost of $0.02/sq in, the total for the O-Fence-Sive product for a 10'x20' backyard would be $691.20, which seems like a steal for such a unique solution to an all-to-common problem. But let's go back to that national average. The original unit cost was $8-20/lineal foot, not square foot. For this project, the total lineal footage for the perimeter fencing would be only 40 lineal feet. Therefore the average cost for this project WITHOUT the O-Fence-Sive system is anywhere between $320-800. I guess what we can take away from this is that the O-Fence-Sive is reasonable priced and well within the national average for a 6' privacy fence.
