Excellent podcast. I am a British born Pakistani. Although I live in London, everything you said resonates and applies to us here too. Absolutely agree that Pakistani dramas provide negative portrayals of marriage and they do unfortunately influence some people to misbehave. Plus they are way too long and boring! For marriage proposals arranged through yourselves, the couple would benefit tremendously from a meeting with you Mrs Ali where you can instil some of your wisdom on the do's and don'ts after Nikkah.
