The “Invest your time in something else” argument is very interesting. Because the NBA is such a huge success because of the fanatics. I love the game of basketball but I don’t pay a single cent to watch games, buy merch, etc. It is the die hard fans who invest their time, and energy which makes these guys make more than 99% of the world population
@whatchusayintv Жыл бұрын
That’s false, most of your money is made off of casual fans that’s why they make all these rule changes to appeal to the masses. That’s why espn talks about Lebron 95 percent of the time…Casuals will always make you the most money in damn near every field
@seanseany6481 Жыл бұрын
I totally agree with you . I’m conflicted in draymonds argument because he and many sports stars will not earn millions were it not for fanatics who invest their time and energy into following a sport. His sport and value of the nba will not be what it is if it wasn’t for fanatics. There will be no value in winning championships were it not for fanatics who make the story what it is.
@emmanueloppong9778 Жыл бұрын
@@whatchusayintv Fair point. To reach the masses you must focus on the casuals. I don’t think I expressed myself correctly though. My main point was to oppose that attitude these guys have (which I used to believe as well) that it makes no sense why people care so much about these athletes and celebrities. I’ve come to realize that the main reason they are able to make so much money is because of the fact that people care so much about things that shouldn’t matter in the grand scheme of life. Just my opinion. I’m always willing to be wrong and learn. God bless🙏🏿

@@emmanueloppong9778 haha thanks and also I get it there’s great sacrifice and self gratification and achievements for athletes like draymond who excel in their sport and he could possibly argue that the fans don’t really matter. But at the same time would athletes invest much time and effort into their craft were it not for the fans who make sports narrative what it is on a global scale? This also goes for the appealing to casual point the guy above made. There would be no espn to cover and focus on specific athletes to appease casuals if it weren’t for dedicated fans that make sports what it is beyond a financial scale I.e the narrative, the pressure , the praise, the love and the hate from fanatics

My Argument was the Same Reason Draymond didn't like CP3 is the Same thing LeBron does to Steph... It's Way More Obvious than CP3, It looked like CP3 and STEPH had a Real Rivalry and CP3 is pretty much like that with Everybody I see him Play CP3 is Even Kill with that! LeBron seems like it Hurt him that STEPH is As Big or If Not BIGGER then him and Friendly Play with Draymond gives him the Edge... Maybe I'm Trippin But that was My Issue, it Looked like DRAYMOND didn't know how to Separate it and Give His Guy who Loved Him from the Beginning and Praise him as Much as he Should and a Little More in STEPH CURRY more Loyalty on the Court when facing LeBron! When Draymond is Gun Shy with his Shot which is the Majority of the time, STEPH don't Complain he makes it Work and Cover Up for his Guy by Creating a Crazy shot! Draymond Shot has Not been the TOPIC of Discussion because STEPH and KLAY Cover his ass and don't Complain! Draymond would Not have made 1 All Star team Playing with LeBron, Draymond talents are PERFECT where they are, He landed in a Perfect Situation to Excel and I Love his Game Shout out to the Warriors for Not trading Draymond! A Lot of times when Draymond Play LeBron he doesn't seem Locked in and LeBron seems Balls to the Wall Even if he has to Get Draymond in Foul trouble, a Tech, or Suspended he will do so and has Font it Repeatedly because it Benefits LeBron more then it do Draymond, Draymond can just Play Basketball with his team and Win on the Other hand IDK! Maybe I'm Wrong but that was My Beef it was just Separating the Two! On and Off the Court... Maybe I was trippin My Bad, Draymond right I needed to Mind My Business and Enjoy the Game 🎯

Draymond did seem like he was playing tougher against sabonis than anyone on lakers lol. We needed more intensity during he lakers series

We’ll AD and Lebron are not sabonis plus lakers were better all around better team. Reeves was averaging more points than poop as the third option.
