Thanks for the video. Is it safe and easy to get around by bicycle on the coast? E.g. Tivat, Budva?
@montenegrovideoguide40113 жыл бұрын
Hi, there are people biking around the coast and Montenegro in general. Our roads are simple, 1 lane for each way mostly. So you need to exercise caution when riding as the cars and trucks will be passing next to you. I would say during the day it is fairly safe to bike around Boka Bay and the coast, just do not do it when it gets dark. Terrain is mostly flat around the coast and the Bay, but there are some parts where it is steep, so bikers there mostly walk with the bike. Let me know if you have any other questions, or possible topics for further videos! thanks, Predrag

hi... thanks for this video...how about transportation means and cost?
@montenegrovideoguide40113 жыл бұрын
Public buses are reliable and quite inexpensive mean of transportation around the country. There are trains too, runnjng from Bar on the south, to Bijelo Polje on the north, stopping in Podgorica. Around the capital public transportation and taxi is quite cheap. I always recommend renting a car, as you can score great deals online, and also discount if you rent a car on a weekly basis. Thank you! I will be visiting Montenegro in 4 days. My 1st stop is Podgorica, then I am planning to go to Bar and then...no idea ..Kotor maybe? and the mountains! Do you recommend any place that has nice commute to mountain trails? We won't have a car. Thank you very much for the info!
@montenegrovideoguide40113 жыл бұрын
Hi Julia, how much time do you have in Mne? From Podgorica I would head straight to Kotor/Tivat, and if you have time than go to Bar. If you wish to visit the north, I would base myself either in Kolasin, or Zabljak. Weather is tricky these days on the north, so you must make sure you have a sunny day when hiking around national parks... People could get lost when there is a lot of 🌧️ and clouds, and lose sight of trail marks... Let me know if you have any other questions. Cheer's, Predrag

@@montenegrovideoguide4011 Thank you very much! I will be spending about 2 weeks from today. Podgorica welcomed me with sun so it was a nice surprise. :) I was considering Žabljak too. Do ypu think there are good connections between Kotor and Žabljak? As far as I know there are 2 buses per day, can this be true? Only 2? Thank you again for your video and your answer. This is very kind of you. Best, hvala!
@Pele87t3 жыл бұрын
@@zweij Zabljak is very cool little town to visit, because from there you can explore Durmitor national park. Famous Durmitor ring is the best thing to do in 1 day. Now there is still no snow, so you are on time to enjoy the north. It is possible that there are 2 buses to Zabljak from Kotor, there is no probably more demand... Maybe you can rent a car... That would be good option too.

How does Podgorica compare with Ljubljana?
@montenegrovideoguide40113 жыл бұрын
I would not compare Podgorica to Ljubljana :). Podgorica is mostly administrative center, and not really place to come as a tourist. On the other hand, Ljubljana is very charming and certainly worth visiting for a day or 2. Definitely would recommend to combine Ljubljana with day trip to Lake Bled. Pls consider subscribing if you have not done so yet, to keep our community growing!. Thanks!
