There is confusion created between Zoom Meetings and Zoom Webinars. In the first part of this presentation the discussion is solely about Zoom Meetings. It is unfortunate that the first meeting he sets up is labeled as a webinar, it isn't a webinar but a meeting with an incorrect title.

I disagree. I think the first part explains how to set up a Zoom meeting room for the purpose of doing a webinar--for example not letting participants unmute themselves and having their video off from the beginning. Then he gets into the specifics of the webinar add-on. I've been using Zoom a lot for meetings and classes but am about to do my first webinar with a large group of people using the webinar feature, so this video was very helpful to me.

I've only launched Zoom Meeting, and thought to make a Webinar, but now I've see we can make a Meeting and unmute participants, so it seems a good option too. Thanks for your clarification

@@MelodyMiroir in the meeting the main difference is that you have the Q&A feature and participants join without video or audio (no need to mute). I think that the main advantage in the webinar is that Zoom handles the registration stuff for you and you can set up automated e-mails to go out to those who sign up etc. and do the payment stuff he showed.

Kudos: well done!! Everything is spot-on. I've learned most - but not all - of these through trial and error. Thank your for the additional knowledge. What's missing in Zoom is how to return to the practice environment at the end of the webinar so the panelists can have a post-webinar discussion without the rest of the audience listening in.... (If it's there, then I haven't discovered it.)

I assume that the term "participant" refers to people who will be participating in presenting the webinar, and that "attendee" refers to someone who will just be observing the webinar --- the audience member. Do you know whether this indeed is the case? If so, for each of the 4 plans, do you know how many attendees are permitted? I would be presenting my webinar alone, so what I really care about is how many people can attend the webinar for each plan.

@@screeneducation4167 The meeting count start at 100 participants, and can be bumped ($) to 500 or 1,000 participants. The webinar account I've been working with allows 500.attendees. If you're curious, reach out directly to me through the form under "about" at jaggers-dot-net. I'll share my experience and how our plans are changing for an annual workshop that we're planning for February with a non-profit organization. FWIW: You really should consider recruiting admin assistance to watch the chat window, and if you're going with a webinar, then monitor the Q&A window, too.

I have a ZOOM PRO account with a same-each-time personal ZOOM MEETING ID. I have a zoom meeting scheduled with this meeting ID. I plan to buy a webinar add on and to change this scheduled ‘MEETING’ into a ‘WEBINAR’. Can I use the Meeting ID (my normal ID) & schedule for the scheduled meeting for the now-to-be-scheduled webinar; or fo I have to cancel the existing meeting & schedule a webinar?

Hello there! I have been using ZOOM free version for some time. Now I have more than 100 attendees, let's say 300. Which plan should I choose? I just need the same features as the free plan. I like the poll feature and I take questions via the chat. The Q&A feature takes the question away once we've responded. Some of our clients will miss what the question was and ask us to repeat it. With the chat they can scroll through and see the question on their own.

I am using zoom webinar for a team member awards ceremony. Being able to promote attendees to panelist just before they are announced help with the element of surprise. Also, being able to spotlight the video of the panelist speaking next really helped me to guarantee the panelist that is supposed to be is visible, is visible! Thanks for the video, it helped with getting the settings right quickly.
