They made too many changes to affliction and scarabs etc since then. They won't work on that rn

@@adkwach ?? affliction is currently in the game, they could just make it 100% spawn rate and not 8%. It was more effort for them to put necropolis lantern back in over just making wildwood have a 100% chance to spawn.

@@captainadmiral8439 MF had nothing to do with how good original affliction was. It wouldn't be as good because wildwood was heavily nerfed and divine conversion doesn't exist anymore. Without quant your divine explosions would be 50 instead of 75~

It's kinda wild because the Lantern was basically awful without atlas passives buffing it even the good lantern mods needed allflames on them to max benefit; really silly.

what's kinda unfortunate is it basically kills league FOR ME either way since i don't see the new challenge league being anywhere near as popular as a normal league start, and nobody's going to bother making mirror gear so there's a hard limit on any progression i do. can get far for sure but it's a biiiiiit cooked. and there's not too much of an option to stay in the "regular" league either, since it just splits a majority of the playerbase away from it. and the lantern mods cant be powerful (divine) otherwise the league is completely fucked for anybody that, you know, enjoys sleep?

As I said before they lying about keeping POE1 alive along side POE2. The main reason POE1 is not abandonware (it should be) after POE2 launch is to send angry people to play it if ANYTHING bad (e.g. lack of side content, complexity) happend to POE2 during its 1-2 years launch period. I'm not mad about this because they try to save themself from hate D4 got after people realize there is nothing to do after finishing campaign (in comparison to D3). I'm only disappointed that they don't have balls to go crazy with recycling old content or to make 2 shorter leagues in that time period till POE2 early access.

That sucks. I don't like settlers too much (even with necro buff) ((currency ah best thing ever tho)). And now, because of poe 2, we need to wait 6 months minimum before new league (which can be bad, because they don't have time like we can see). Not so much hope on poe 2 at beginning too. As poe 1 fan, I'm really afraid that poe 2 will affect good cycles of poe 1 :( It's already happening, but may be they just need some time, a year for example, to put everything on stream.
