UPDATE: Check the mobalytics guide, as I've made some major changes to the gems im using, and completely removed cast on freeze since its super bad now. Also, I highly reccomend checking out Ziz's new video to see the power charge version of this build, as it may just straight up be better. I guess it really depends on if you want to play trigger or not, as he is playing Unbound Avatar instead. So check out that one and see if that might be more your style.

Just looking at your vid makes it look a lot more interesting to me than ziz version. I really like the aoe it has. really nice idea. also tyvm for mentioning the ziz version. gonna check them both tmr a bit closer =)

@ChrizYT I did end up testing switching to power charges and it's honestly about the same. Maybe even a little bit more single target on mine because with power charges you're reliant on freeze to gain them to build crit. Definitely check out my update video as well as ziz's video. Using shattering palm a LOT more is def the play if you want screen wide explosions.

I said "This is gonna be a quick video" in my first sentence and then made a 40 minute video so I apologize. This was my first video and guide, so I'd love to hear where I can improve. Stay sane exiles. Edit: IMPORTANT I forgot to talk about jewels. Get 3 rage on melee hit jewels to maintain 30 rage. Preferably with elemental damage on top of them.

Small update due to patch that just dropped: This line right here was greatly buffing my damage "Fixed Infusion Support Gems on Herald skills applying the gain damage as extra elemental damage to all attacks instead of just the damage from the Herald skill". Went from 22k dps down to 16k while sitting in hideout. Also we're triggering a lot less due to the trigger changes. I think and hope that they will buff it some, but it doesnt feel like terrible right now, just a lot less pog due to less triggers. Might try swapping to a coc setup but we will see. Build still slaps though, just slightly less damage and less clear.

@twelvethirtyfour oooo, in Vegas or in youtube studio? I just did some googling and it looks like you used to be able to adjust volume after uploading, but they seem to have removed it. Imma do some research for the average db to try to be around and keep my future uploads around there.

I'm rerolling into ice monk and noticed some things, from testing elemental expression seems kinda ass & definitely not worth taking over protect me from harm. Though, if you do you have elemental expression, wouldn't you want to avoid using biting frost since it consumes freeze & we deal more damage to frozen enemies (thin ice).

So I've actually since rolled off of elemental expression. I think it might be good with enough crit, but with out it, it feels terrible. I havent specced into protect me from harm just yet as I dont have my fourth ascendancy yet, an I like having the extra evasion for now until i invest into my gear a bit more. I'm right now running I am the blizzard instead for the extra cold to get more freezes. If you're running thin ice then definitely you dont want to consume the freeze, I rolled off of it to get some points for the power charge nodes to try that out with charge infusion. But you're def correct on all your points.

@pantsempire yeah I'm going to test some stuff this afternoon when I get off work and update it. Will possibly move away from triggering unless they buff it some. Which will free up some spirit for some other skills. Ill do another video once i decide and test some changes. Ill probably stream some of my testing this weekend as well.

@@pdurkim I recommend checking out Zizarin for this build now. It's changed a lot since I made my first version, and i won't be making new videos until Februaryish due to work.
