[PoE 3.14] Graven's Secret & Blightwell ES Recouper Build Theory

PoE 3.13 Gravens Secret Cloth Belt with maximum Power Charges / Absorption Charges for 100%+ of Elemental Damage recouperated as Energy Shield Theory craft / Build guide concept.
Last Belt, PoE Build theory, after Arns Anguish & Olesyas Delight.
Last of the PoE 3.13 Builds for the Belts.
Arns Anguish is way superior and more damage oriented,
Olesyas Delight is good for utility and okay for dmg,
Graven's Secret seems to be the best for defense.

I am not to sure if I calculated the % increased Energy Shield Recovery Rate correctly
Next video will likely be Legacy of Fury Maven Boots, unless you got some other underused maybe sleeper OP items I can theorycraft with.

this video is old, but, if you want to scale energy shield recoup, you need to use energy shield recovery rate, not energy shield recharge. For example, Soul of arakaali has 20% increased recovery rate of energy shield

Seems like a critical error form my side then, too long ago to properly remember, but I believe i saw a post by GGG_Mark about it applying and that's why I used the es-recovery too.

Energy shield recharge rate is different from recovery rate. I'm not sure how the Absorption charge "recoup" works but if I had to guess I would assume recharge wouldn't work on it.

I went with ( pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Recovery ) "All gaining of life, mana and Energy shield is recovery" for my hypothesis. I just tried to test it with a 300ES Char 3 Power Charges, L: pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Shavronne%27s_Revelation R: pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Storm_Secret , Herald of Thunder Blood Rage Pcoc + Gravens Secret + pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Blightwell But couldn't make any significant insights. Ideally would need a character with lots of ES and then slowly pump up the amount of Power Charges i have, but currently dont have access to that :(

@@franklyspeaking_games surely ES recharge is part of the ES recovery. But recovery is not recharge. Increasing the ES recharge rate doesn't increase the whole recovery rate of any sources. Only the vice versa works. Recharge ⊂ recovery Recharge ≠ Recovery. Read the original link that you're referring to slowly..then you'll understand. It's just one source of ES recovery. Only increasing the recovery rate(not recharge rate) will affect the recouping rate. It doesn't say "All gaining of life, mana and Energy shield is RECHARGE". It only says "All gaining of life, mana and Energy shield is RECOVERY"

I was thinking of getting enough physical taken as elemental stats along with CI to get most hits recouped. Then slap on some block and es gained on block to spread out the damage taken.

Would need a really good es shield with %es on block and then double corrupt them for 2 take phys as x/y or atleast 1 of those corrupts. Not sure how much are available or if you need to farm temples

I went all over this as well, assuming that recharge rate does nothing (i strongly believe so) i found it hard to fit everything into a build which has CI, around 10k es, at least 150% recoup, transcendence with at least 20k armour, and at least 70% phys damage taken as elemental. I think the best use for this belt is imo for EB+mom easy es sustain or just on a hybrid armour build which uses corrupted energy keystone, it seems most efficient use.

Ye I am also having difficulties finding a decent build with it for now, the talisman could be now annointed with some power/endurance charge stuff. Maybe I ask in the poe forum for a dev explanation with this belt specifically. Es, Recoup and CI are kind of close on the tree. Would probably need aurastacker levels of investment to be way weaker than an aurastacker :(

I think eye of innocence, and maybe some storm secrets could be quite op for recovery given enough power charges.

TRUE, that maybe even makes ES (CWDT) Cast When Damage Taken Builds more viable. Added the Items to the POB. Thanks for the good idea 😃

Did u ever make this? I'm currently using the belt+helmet on my arakaali dang spider guardian.... Seems really tanky coupled with tempest shield

Never made it, wanted more physical to elemental conversion, looked at it recently again with poedb.tw/us/Dawnbreaker planning another build for now :D

wow that shield looks legit with the belt and helmet... but would really need like 8-9 power max power charges to be viable... on my spider build i was only able to get 6 on my budget from the tree. it def helps, but wish i could grab more from rings and ammy

@@pgarza2 Could go with occultist, annoint 1 from tree, take other 2 then you are at 7, corrupting helmets for +1 pc www.poewiki.net/wiki/Malachai%27s_Loop +2 power charges. but think aegis/squire/phys as fire shield are better defenses. also not sure if it's worth to invest THAT much into it
